Faster than a Train presents | DOCUMENTARY FILM

The region of Orava is known for its picturesque natural sceneries and historical monuments. Several Slovak writers and key figures were born here as well. There is one more crucial element connected to the area: the ORAVKA regional train. The train is one of the slowest in Slovakia: it brakes at 21 stops and travels 58 kilometres in 110 minutes.
We decided to organise a duel between machine and man, and send a peloton of selected cyclists for a somewhat special ride. On July 2, 2022, a team of Slovak celebrities raced the train and the result was clear. The cyclists beat the train by almost SIX minutes.
