The first letter in "uBITX" is actually not a "u", but a Latin letter, mu, unfortunately I can't type the correct one here. So it's pronounced as "mu" and not "u", and mu is the math notation for micro (10^-6), and thus often used in value representation.

Hi there, i wanted to get this one, but i just found one with orange buttons, that one was too ugly, but it had the battery inside, mine is a UHSDR-QRP with black buttons, i wanted it with white buttons but the seller just had the ones like i got, but its different clones, is it a best one of them? Or is a chinese clone just a chinese clone? The original kit is no longer for sale, and the firmware in the newer models are not like on the one in all the videos here on youtube, mine cant TX 5watt on 11 meter, just 50mw at max when the TX of of band is active..so i belive its a software problem? I realy want one of these that can Tx 2-3 watt on 11 meter... mine do also lagg alittle sometimes. 73. From Norway

hello, I picked one of these up and the first thing I noticed was the waterfall is going up, instead of down such as falling lol. I checked the setting and the firmware. The firmware was out of date from 2018 so I updated the firmware but still noticed the the water is not falling and was going up? I know the display is correctly installed as everything that appears on it shows correctly, not upside down (as I say with a smile :) ) So what is going on with this? Never seen a backward waterfall on a radio? Is there anything that can be done to correct this this?

I bought one of these a few years back. Mine was rubbish. Ran it on receive only for 10 minutes then blew the main chip. Chinese supplier didn't want to know. Stay clear. Components rubbish and build quality rubbish.

@@RESISTAGE 100% correct. You get what you pay for. Sadly though... I had no idea what it was at the time... seen it on eBay, likes the specs, and price and did the deal. Only later did I discover the horror of it, but lesson learnt as you say. Perhaps a repair project for the future. : (
