People usually react to these kinds of matter with emotions - the speaker is within his right enforcing an agreed-upon code of conduct for that parliament and so is the parliamentarian pointing out the violation; this is unless the interpretation of their 'tightness' was incorrect, in which case it needs to be argued so. Whether tight-fitting clothes should be on the code of conduct is another matter. If people think it unfair that the lady should not be kicked out for wearing tight clothes, then simply remove that stipulation from the code - you however cannot criticize enforcement of an existing code of conduct, where members agreed upon it. I cannot cry foul and insist on my way in going to an all-white party while dressed in green, yet there is totally nothing wrong with wearing green generally
One of the signs that a country is going to the dogs is policing women, you can't police how more than half your population dresses and remain normal. The question now is who is next? Doesn't this parliament have anything important to discuss than this? Soon they're going to be discussing how to put clothes on fish.
I wish they were very sharp about real issues and worry less about policing how women wear their own clothes. I am happy SABC is giving exposure to Parliaments around Africa.
