Ok, so most of her power comes from A1 and A6. If I can only get A1 and I have A6 Lin, would it be worth pulling Fiona A1 in Volt to replace Lin A6? Or do I have to go for A3, even though it doesn't provide much? Or A6? That chart didn't answer the question of at which breakpoint Fiona becomes worth pulling to replace Lin A6...
@@-AEON- stay A0 if you can't afford A6. A1 only mere 12% from A0 and from what I get from video, A0 Fiona is just near below A6 Lin. so, A1 Fiona is either the same as A6 Lin or just a little above. So, to answer your question of which breakpoint, A1 Fiona to get a little over A6 Lin and A6 Fiona is 28-32% above A6 Lin.
Goodness, if you're Frost and you have A6 Lin + Matrices, you essentially need A6 Fiona + Matrices to see a noticeable gain. A skip for anyone who used resources on Icaras (which you need to if you're a frost DPS main) who doesn't whale.

@@BouncyBearKUMA Lin vs. Saki is interesting. Lin does like 1% more dmg or so if both are played optimally. Saki though has extra healing and shatter. Not that Icarus isn't great shattering already with Alyss support aid, but sometimes it matters. Lin does need to be mindful of a potential teleport as well, but it isn't that difficult to instantly get back in the fight w/o losing any significant uptime. All and all, the two are so close that if you have one, there is no real reason to go for the other. And, here we have Fiona, who is weaker at A0, and at A1 is essentially the same damage, maybe a tad bit less or more. And with A2~5 barely helping Fiona, this makes it so you only truly see a significant boost in damage from A6 Fiona, and this is all assuming you have the matrice set too. So, while for a whale, A6 Fiona + her set will end up being a nice bump (smaller than other comps though), for those who can't go that hard on Fiona, A6 Saki/Lin (whicher they have) is already so good that there isn't a point, unless it's just for like Sequential. This is especially so because Icarus just came out (still available even), and so he already has soaked up resources. Unless you didn't have either Lin or Saki at A6 at this point, Fiona doesn't make much since, as it would just make sense to just pump resources into Icarus if you really wanted to push further. Like, Considering you need Icarus anyways, you'll likely end up in a better place if you just kept getting dupes for Icarus than pushed all the way to A6 Fiona to just replace Saki/Lin for a 20% uplift, if that.

Fen Lin Fiona: Hydro Focus + Wellspring or Vortex (this comp will end up mostly Fenrir focused despite being an Altered team, so Wellspring will have value as a generic buff) Benediction: Aqua Shackles + Torrential Force
For flame anna trait is worth considering over fiona. You need vortex for group and torr force, the latter of which is the only redeeming one for trait, albeit not sure its enough. Doing the lan skill and switching to anna for the extra burst might be the way to go with anna trait, who knows.
I suppose that she'll be perfect paired with Lin and Gunono (when released) but who do I focus first ? (Fiona or Gunono) I am physical/rainbow (Fenrir).
the good thing is, now everyone in my team doesn't need to reroll obliterator buff inside void abyss. leave that to our healer with benediction reso. the rest of the team can fill the slot with another useful buff

Im a returning Frigg main from 200 days ago. So im kinda overwhelmed with all these new updates and characters. I tried out Fiona and Alyss from the character trials and i like them both gameplay wise. But what team comps do you guys recommend I use? (I use Frigg, Tsubasa, Nemesis) I have some other characters but not built

4pc Coco or a 2nd 4pc Zero set both work! 2pc Nemesis (entering standard soon) is an option as well for buffing volt gamers~ if all else fails, 4Huma can be a choice for dmg reduction!

if you have other set of limited matrices which provides final dmg buff - go for a6. otherwise a1 4p 0* would be better. also if you are considering supporting your teammates as a healer Fiona matrices set is a must have.
How does the zero x4 matrix work? There is a lot of wrong and confusing information about this. many say that if you use them on Lyra you will get the perma buff damage from her passive shield, even if you are using another weapon. Others say that the damage buff only activates for 6 seconds when you use the discharge regardless of what other shields you have. You know the truth?
I heard a rumor that the Lyra issue got "fixed" earlier, and I re-tested yesterday. It's still strictly an on-field matrix. However, if you use it on Lyra, even when you have NO GUARDS and NO SHIELD, you will permanently have the damage buff (not sure about teammates, will need to re-test that).
I have fenrir a1 (samir + shiro), lin a1 (4 piece haboela), should I get fiona a0 with her 4 piece set if I can? I main healer but I like to play dps every once in a while
Big oof on the Saki reset, but I that would put her on Fenrir Level Damage I bet. I happy I have her a0, but I am not super pushed to go maybe higher than a1 if I am honest.
The 4p effect is really powerful... I wouldn't go for A3 2-piece as you hardly get anything from it, but maybe just grabbing the A0 2-piece is an economic way to keep your Lin matrix relevant ~
Um nemesis heals for a lot more then fiona. Fiona doesn't seem to crit heal even. Nemesis can crit heal 2x on dodge and up to 4x on discharge or pulse lock. Fiona's best heal I've seen is on discharge at 500k on my accnt. Mean while nemesis can heal the same and crit heal for about 1k.
Lin and Saki are neck and neck, so looking at the chart, A1 Fiona seems like it will either be less, tie, or be slightly more. Hard to say exactly, but, either way, looks like no substantial gain unless you go for A6 on Frost. If you're Phys she's a must even at A0. Fire/Volt needs A1 to replace A6 Lin. Fiona just isn't the best on Frost it seems. If you're a whale and max her she'll be a fair gain, but otherwise, might be good to pass on her for now if you don't have many resources left following Icaras (probably a lot of us).
well, imo if like you dont have atleast a5 saki, having fiona is 100% better since gaining discharge wouldnt be a problem anymore and that there will be no dps loss like in bygone
@@valkyrieregalia Yeah I pulled A1 Fiona today and tested on cactus. It wasn't an upgrade indeed. I think it could be a slight upgrade if I had 4p-Fiona. Btw the rotation with Fiona was a lot easier but less stable. Mono-frost was way more stable on OoW since it has lots of s and dmg reduction.
@@grazienuevox6278 I use A3 Saki and didn't have any weapon charge issue. It actually overcharges all the time so that I even need to cancel Alyss skill animation.
Lin and Fiona is a really good combination and you can do everything with them without restrictions, so I don't think you made any mistake, you will just need a 3rd character that you like or someone who will buff them further and then you will be good with every content in the game. Don't give up, think "out of the box" and enjoy the game! :)
Now I'm stuck as a F2P between Fiona, Icarus, and giving up entirely. Killing alterred comp was a big F. Frost is in a weird place if you have no resources and an A6 Lin.
Yes I feel this game not rlly worth it to be serious, its kinda hurt, maybe they must have system so older weapon can be useful such as slightly increase attack if we replace and keep the older weapon on the storage or other thing sigh
It happens in these kind of games, no character is going to be the best forever just because you invested a lot of money. That isn’t how gachas work, as kits become more complex and creative over time it’s inevitable for older concepts to eventually fall behind.
As she mentioned in the video, Fiona A0 for physical and Lin A6 for everything else, but as I have seen on Fiona A1, she is equal with Lin A6 or better in some cases.
Why always the nerf word if f2p can't pull anything u will all say nerf them but u all forget that most of the PVE content is cleared because whales exist without whales f2p can't do shit and be stuck
@@spitfiredark9469 I have f2p friends that carry VA6 and have good floors on origin, I don't think you need whales if you know what you're doing, Fiona will empower those people more, there's f2p on BR too, this game has massive disinformation on the status of whales and f2p, you can be pretty strong as f2p if you use the powercreep to your benefit.

Some ppl say Icarus should skipped for some reasons and go for Fiona: - both are Frost - Not all ppl like the Icarus animation, while Fiona's looks much nicer. - Icarus can replaced soon or later... I am still holding back with invest in Icarus, and prepare for Fiona. Not sure in DPS area, but she looks better too and nicer animation effects. What do you think between Icarus and Fiona? Fiona can do more than Icarus?
1. Fiona element is not frost, she is altered 2. Fiona animation is indeed nicer, but it has nothing to do with character kit 3. Icarus will be replaced soon by whom? Yulan? Yulan will most likely replace alyss or saki because of ToF rule where new weapon will replace the oldest on the same element comp 4. Icarus role is a dps to deal damage, while fiona role is a support to give dmg buff. Fiona is used to boost icarus dmg, not competing as a dps main on the same team 5. You need icarus to maximize fiona potential on frost team, because fiona synergize the most with icarus compared to saki or alyss. Not to mention saki/alyss/fiona will give you balanced reso which probably the worst reso on the game compared to others
@@hypervelocity9704 Yeah i found out later she is not frost, even some effects looks like it. Icarus banner will end soon, so i cannot get it. I just focus on Fiona because i am low spender / F2P player. So i just do another time Icarus unless there is another that can do good dps. I play now most time with Fenrir because it goes pretty well in many fights. I have fire as alternative because i got both banners Simulacra s. Sometimes you can get it sometimes not. As F2P player not easy due RNG side of rolls. Sometimes just bad luck.

Yeah when icarus alyss saki is better in actual than icarus alyss lin, pretty much no reason for frost to pull fiona.

A0 Fiona wouldn't help your current team by much, but she can be a really powerful addition to other teams if you have a good main DPS to support ~

@@Maygi So in theory the best option is to keep the zero x4 team in the weapon that you use the discharge and not in a lyra
I have fenrir a1 (samir + shiro), lin a1 (4 piece haboela), should I get fiona a0 with her 4 piece set if I can? I main healer but I like to play dps every once in a while
sometimes I put lin on samir + crow, I just have no idea what I'm doing most of the time.
If you're a healer main, then no questions asked - go get her! She is great for both healer and DPS even at A0
Does anyone have any suggestions for F2P matrices for Fiona? Just as an FYI I do have 2pc Fiona matrices.
You can put a 4p world boss set on Fiona, then put 2Fiona + 2King on an alternate weapon (if applicable), or else just any other 2pc on it

Big oof on the Saki reset, but I that would put her on Fenrir Level Damage I bet. I happy I have her a0, but I am not super pushed to go maybe higher than a1 if I am honest.
I have a6 lin 4p matrices *1 all, can it change to a3 fiona 2p matrices? Help please and thank you
The 4p effect is really powerful... I wouldn't go for A3 2-piece as you hardly get anything from it, but maybe just grabbing the A0 2-piece is an economic way to keep your Lin matrix relevant ~

Um nemesis heals for a lot more then fiona. Fiona doesn't seem to crit heal even. Nemesis can crit heal 2x on dodge and up to 4x on discharge or pulse lock. Fiona's best heal I've seen is on discharge at 500k on my accnt. Mean while nemesis can heal the same and crit heal for about 1k.
I pulled Fiona but she can't replace Lin in the saki + fenrir team 😮💨

I'm curious to how much she replaces Saki. I have no doubts A1 Fiona is an upgrade though since A0 Fiona is only a bit of downgrade from A6 Lin
Lin and Saki are neck and neck, so looking at the chart, A1 Fiona seems like it will either be less, tie, or be slightly more. Hard to say exactly, but, either way, looks like no substantial gain unless you go for A6 on Frost. If you're Phys she's a must even at A0. Fire/Volt needs A1 to replace A6 Lin. Fiona just isn't the best on Frost it seems. If you're a whale and max her she'll be a fair gain, but otherwise, might be good to pass on her for now if you don't have many resources left following Icaras (probably a lot of us).
well, imo if like you dont have atleast a5 saki, having fiona is 100% better since gaining discharge wouldnt be a problem anymore and that there will be no dps loss like in bygone
@@valkyrieregalia Yeah I pulled A1 Fiona today and tested on cactus. It wasn't an upgrade indeed. I think it could be a slight upgrade if I had 4p-Fiona. Btw the rotation with Fiona was a lot easier but less stable. Mono-frost was way more stable on OoW since it has lots of s and dmg reduction.
@@grazienuevox6278 I use A3 Saki and didn't have any weapon charge issue. It actually overcharges all the time so that I even need to cancel Alyss skill animation.

Lin and Fiona is a really good combination and you can do everything with them without restrictions, so I don't think you made any mistake, you will just need a 3rd character that you like or someone who will buff them further and then you will be good with every content in the game. Don't give up, think "out of the box" and enjoy the game! :)
So A1 and 4pc matrices > A6? Or vice versa?

Now I'm stuck as a F2P between Fiona, Icarus, and giving up entirely. Killing alterred comp was a big F. Frost is in a weird place if you have no resources and an A6 Lin.

Yes I feel this game not rlly worth it to be serious, its kinda hurt, maybe they must have system so older weapon can be useful such as slightly increase attack if we replace and keep the older weapon on the storage or other thing sigh

It happens in these kind of games, no character is going to be the best forever just because you invested a lot of money. That isn’t how gachas work, as kits become more complex and creative over time it’s inevitable for older concepts to eventually fall behind.
fiona c0 or lin c6?
As she mentioned in the video, Fiona A0 for physical and Lin A6 for everything else, but as I have seen on Fiona A1, she is equal with Lin A6 or better in some cases.

@@spitfiredark9469 I have f2p friends that carry VA6 and have good floors on origin, I don't think you need whales if you know what you're doing, Fiona will empower those people more, there's f2p on BR too, this game has massive disinformation on the status of whales and f2p, you can be pretty strong as f2p if you use the powercreep to your benefit.

Some ppl say Icarus should skipped for some reasons and go for Fiona:
- both are Frost
- Not all ppl like the Icarus animation, while Fiona's looks much nicer.
- Icarus can replaced soon or later...
I am still holding back with invest in Icarus, and prepare for Fiona.
Not sure in DPS area, but she looks better too and nicer animation effects.
What do you think between Icarus and Fiona? Fiona can do more than Icarus?
1. Fiona element is not frost, she is altered
2. Fiona animation is indeed nicer, but it has nothing to do with character kit
3. Icarus will be replaced soon by whom? Yulan? Yulan will most likely replace alyss or saki because of ToF rule where new weapon will replace the oldest on the same element comp
4. Icarus role is a dps to deal damage, while fiona role is a support to give dmg buff. Fiona is used to boost icarus dmg, not competing as a dps main on the same team
5. You need icarus to maximize fiona potential on frost team, because fiona synergize the most with icarus compared to saki or alyss. Not to mention saki/alyss/fiona will give you balanced reso which probably the worst reso on the game compared to others

Icarus banner will end soon, so i cannot get it. I just focus on Fiona because i am low spender / F2P player.
So i just do another time Icarus unless there is another that can do good dps.
I play now most time with Fenrir because it goes pretty well in many fights. I have fire as alternative because i got both banners Simulacra s.
Sometimes you can get it sometimes not. As F2P player not easy due RNG side of rolls. Sometimes just bad luck.
