When Andy Greenberg was diagnosed with Fuchs dystrophy, he traveled the world to find the best doctor to cure him. This journey brought him to Rotterdam, where had his first DMEK surgery performed by Dr. Gerrit Melles, the inventor and genius behind the procedure. More than a decade later, his vision started to wane, and his research brought him to Parker Cornea. This is his story.

I have had a DSAEK in one eye due to Fuchs. It didnt grow in and had to be replaced. Fortunately the 2nd dr did a great job. Id seek out Dr Parker for my other eye but sadly the insurance wont cover out of state. However Dr Miguel Lugo in Orlando did a great job and unless he retires soon I'll have him do this one. HOWEVER... ifI were closerI would see out Dr Parker.
