How do I shower after a c section 😭 I had an emergency c section 5 days ago and they didn't explain restrictions or anything all they said is that I could do it. I'm a plus sized girl so I have a B belly .... I really need a shower 😭
@@xxchaotictemptationxx3037you should be able to have a shower now, but please ask a medical practitioner who knows you. Just use warm water and no harsh chemicals and pat dry your scar after
I have a uk size 6-8 waist and no diastasis recti as I have managed to close my ab gap to 2 fingers. Also I have changed my diet, I have reduced my sugar intake and eat proteins like meat fish, veg and drink alot of water dailly. Beside a tummy tuck do you have any recommendations for reducing a 4yr old c- section shelf/ apron?
its so hard to provide person specific advice without seeing you in clinic. tummy tuck scars are much larger scars than a c-section, so please take your time in considering this
Everywhere ive looked says NOT to have a bath!! Im not sure why, but maybe stick to that one. Barely 2 mins in and aside from that i feel like ive got more direction from this lady than the Dr who did the surgery or the Drs/Midwives after. Really working through a lot of trauma from my emergency c section just over 2 wks ago (my first bub) and this informative video is making me feel better already 😊🎉❤
Thank you. Always go with what your health care provider recommends for you though. They know you the best ❤ everyone is different. Take your time. You’ve been through a lot ❤
I was only told to not bathe while the scar plaster is on once it was off I was told to bathe if comfortable (took me 2 weeks to he able to climb in bath safely)
@@tinastarantulas see if I knew that, I would’ve had a bath way sooner! Still haven’t, bubs is going through a rough patch so not much time to myself these days. 🤪
I just subscribed because I can’t find the answers I need. I’ve been exercising and lost a lot of weight. My mommy pooch is still there after 3 months giving birth thru c-section. It got smaller with doing some core strengthening exercises but it feels numb and like a rock when I touch it. Is this normal ? And I heard it takes 1 year to get a flat tummy
The overhang is always the first thing to come and the last thing to go. It can take some time for the feeling to return. Don’t give up hope. Keep going
Thank you so much for this video I really appreciate it, I'm getting a c-seseion next week and is my first child, and I do have a pooch and I am thankful to you for telling how I can take care of my c-section under some extra skin. I also would like to ask you, can you clean your c-seseion with seasalt water?

Thank you for the good video. I have a concern though, my incision opened a little and I’m not sure how to care for it. It has turned into a small deep wound. What must I use to cleanse it and help the wound to heal??
Plz reply me 😭this is my 2nd c section my first c section was so good heal not to much painfull nd scar area not big but now 2nd time c section so much pain full nd my scare cut so big why plz u can tell me my scare cut so big first time was cut so normal size why 2nd cut big even my bag small tiny size baby head normal no baby big size so why doctors cut big 😭😭cut my scar
My doctor cleaned my wound and it reopened. I think it’s because he was rough. 😢😢😢 where I’m from they don’t recommend we take care of our own scars. A little bit of blood and what seems like clear fluid (when it dries up it turns gold) comes out. My scar is a week old. And three days after , I had to go back for another operation because there was brown fluid coming out (doctor said it’s a Haematoma) I don’t want to go back to my doctor because I’m just worried it’ll get worse. Will I be able to go to another practitioner to help me with my scar?
Superb and thank you very much ❤
no problem at all. all the best
Thank you, this is really helpful and your voice is so healing.

Why do I feel numb in my cs area ,am 10 days post cs
You will feel numb, as they cut through several layers of tissues and nerves. Your nerves take a while to recover

Hi we have a video on the overhang. Please check it out! Just clear water, no soap and I wouldn’t use salt water in the early stages. Just plain water
Thank you so much for getting back to me.
Two years after my c-section my doctor did a total hysterectomy 😢 I was not properly informed 😢 . I miss my uterus so much
I’m so sorry to hear this 😭
I just had a total hysterectomy…in week two of recovery.
