Curve was actually an idea that took only 8 hours to write, and the director stated he got the inspiration from a car accident and a talk with a depressed friend. It’s very phycological if you really think about it, one of my favorite short films so far 😍😍

@@lavendergold6379 A lot of times for dams or high elevation areas of water like large mountain lakes there can be water runoff tunnels that look like bottomless pits that just exist so any overflow can get safely redirected and not cause any unwanted damage somewhere else. There was a woman in real life who got way to close to one in the middle of a lake and plummeted roughly 200ft to her death after desperately clinging to the edge. I'm certain it was one of those runoff tunnels at the edge of the water due to the establishing shot by the ocean at the beginning.
I feel like if she had something sharp and durable she could chisel out the wall behind her a bit so she can make climbing legends for her to grab onto, it would take a lot of time but that’s the only way I see out of there

There was a woman in real life who got way to close to one in the middle of a lake and plummeted roughly 200ft to her death after desperately clinging to the edge. I'm certain it was one of those runoff tunnels at the edge of the water due to the establishing shot by the ocean at the beginning.
I feel like if she had something sharp and durable she could chisel out the wall behind her a bit so she can make climbing legends for her to grab onto, it would take a lot of time but that’s the only way I see out of there
