It's really special to hear a player and person of Auston Matthews' calibre speak about the Maple Leafs in a way that resonates with the passionate fans. I've waited many years to hear a leader like him speak into words what Leafs Nation feels about their team. Go Leafs Go.

I love these Blueprints so much. Its great to see the guys off the ice and especially great to see guys like Sam and Jordan (and Manny) get some attention cause this is a TEAM sport and these folks are all part of the team. And the Leafs are so lucky to have Matthews on their team, what a great year to land the no.1 pick that was!
if it was up to me Papi would be wearing that C Auston is the FACE of the maple leafs today like it or not.
Shouldn’t even be up for debate. He’s the best player our franchise has ever seen by a long shot and obviously is the leader of this team. Hopefully Tavares pushes for it to happen this offseason

This is a great video. We are so fortunate to have such an amazing player who has such class and skill and passion.
Matthews and the Leafs are a perfect fit, lets hope he stays with this club for his entire career. Who knows, the career goal record isnt beyond possibility if he stays healthy. Wouldnt that be cool.

Our city just loves these guys but we have always loved the Leafs in Toronto no matter how bad they were there is just so much passion in Toronto fans that is why everyone hates us Leafs fans Matthews got the winner tonight in OT over the Sabers number 54. 70 is not out of the question MVP even if he doesn't hit that mark
