@@Tommy-ht5kc Yes, the United States is young compared to many countries( like the UK) however you’re dismissing a lot of world changing history initiated by the US and it’s many prominent figures . A lot of things occurring within the US have rippled across the globe arguably even to more than the British ever did despite loosely governing 1/3 of the world’s land . I find it funny how Brits try to act with a sense of authority especially given the current status the UK is in and try to downplay the US and it’s accomplishments . I agree your country contributed a lot but honestly to be frank you dropped the ball . I suggest you learn more American History as it’s quite fascinating especially given it being such a young country as we’ve sped up the progress of the globe in so many ways for “good”to a point that our current going ons and history( from a legal sense ) still play a direct impact on the world (mostly the western world) and their governments . Leading to America being the driver of the world’s economy, entertainment industry, “security”, innovation, and promoter of Values derived from Enlightenment thought and that of Christian values . America is pretty great to have all of this in only ~300~ years or so . . Btw the current US is being lead somewhere bad just like the UK in my opinion.
@@seth1223 I’m just winding you up mate. I know America has a lot of fascinating history. You put a guy on the moon for Christs sake. It’s funny how you picture the Brits as acting like we’re authority. We look at the yanks the exact same way. Pot calling the kettle black, I just don’t know which of us is the kettle 😂🇬🇧
It's an interesting thing to choose to preserve. I always wonder how people choose these artifacts. Did they just preserve as many objects from that moment as they could?
There's a very thorough wiki article with all of the meeting places of the various Congresses under "list of capitals in the United States" which gives a full list of the specific place used as the capital at any point in time. As you probably know it moved a lot before settling in DC.
I could earn a history degree just watching these videos
It's not that easy, unless you attend some quirky College or University.

I cannot believe someone dropped the stone... its like the 1 job to do...not break the stone.
Similar to liberty bell.
The bell made by men cracked, and the bell made by women s bit later is still in good shape.
This is why we can’t have nice things
5 minutes into a brand new country and already breaking stuff.
“At some point, they dropped this super important historic piece!”
The most American thing 😂
Put that stone on your with the Liberty Bell!
"You had one job!"
Really appreciate the piece of history you share with us
Excellent
The movers had a bad case of DROPSY. 😅😂😅

I love this lady too. She’s appeared in a couple of your videos and she is very knowledgeable about the history of the location.
That is an unfortunate name of the tour company.
That's f***** up they did that but at least we got a little history still got but that's messed up hilarious 😂
Love Mrs q

I'm surprised someone hasn't virtue signaled yet by protesting that statue out front🤣🤣🤦♂️🤦♂️

IMO the stone looks fancier cracked
Was NYC the United States capital at the time of his inauguration? Fascinating channel🧐
Yes. Then it was moved to Philadelphia until D.C was built.

It was only dropped once unlike Don jr being dropped on his head when he was a baby
What Washington stood on a pizza stone that's amazing
I thought it was the weight of he's balls that broke it
