This race, the 26th SPAR European Cross Country Championships, was on 8 December 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal. In a 20-second video posted at the World-Atheltics website and elsewhere, it sounds to me like the race announcer pronounces Robel Fsiha's name as "Raw-bell CHEE-ah." An online article at InsideTheGames dated 17 May 2020 says: "European cross country champion Robel Fsiha has been banned for four years by the Swedish Anti-Doping Board after testing positive for artificial testosterone in November [2019] at a training camp." Indeed, online results at WorldAthletics for the 2019 European Cross Country Championships list Aras Kaya as the winner of this race, meaning that Fsiha was disqualified. The Wikipedia article on Robel Fsiha says that the ban lasted until 4 February 2024.

I wished I was young again and could still race in cross country races. There is no feeling like it in the world. You know you are in great shape if you can run 5 or 6.2 miles over many hills at a fast pace. Thanks for sharing!.

Ali Kaya is not Aras's brother, Turkey gives the transferred Turkish-language names and surnames but Kaya is something like "Smith"

Actually the 12 mm spikes ate for javelin and highjump aswell as cross. Never heard of 15mm spikes but they would only be used in crosscountry. 18mm would never be allowed in javelin cause such long spikes would surely tear up the tracksurface and damage it

Sadly it does seem as if Kenyan running is riddled with doping - canbt really take Kenyan runners seriously anymore
