    Code p0335.
Should I replace the sensor or whole stator ?
    23 r1 - 15k miles.
I believe my battery voltage was dropping as I tried starting the bike.
Did a run down the road and Bike shut off on me as I shifted into 5th
Link - to where you purchased your stator ?

I got a 15 with 30k miles tried taking it out the other day and it’ll just crank. Saw posts that the crankshaft sensor built in to the stator is known to go bad ordered the stator just waiting for delivery. Im hoping its that

I have the same issue. Tried a new battery and it only fires up if I jump start it. How do i know if it’s the stator or the rectifier?

Well I tried bump starting mine with the bad stator and it didn't want to start

Hey bro i think i might be having this same exact issue. How do you know exactly that the stator is bad? My bike will crank and crank but not start. I can get it to fire for a second if i give it throttle while starting. I also notice that my fuel pump doesnt prime when turning the key to on. I already changed out the fuel pump and fuel pump relay. Battery volts is 13.2.

Check the voltage of the battery while cranking the bike, if you see the voltage continuously drop without it starting that could be a sign your stator is bad. Only strange thing is that you said your bike isn’t priming. Mine always primed while attempting to start it.

It can also be the crankshaft sensor that goes with the stator. Known to go bad

@motocrimson yeah after doing a little digging online I think that's what it might be. Have a whole new stator and CPS on order from madhornets. What was weird and gave me initial symptoms was I was on the freeway and it started to lose power, backfire then just shut off. That had me moving in the fuel direction. Oh well new fuel pump and relay

Been working through my starting issue. Finally found the problem. My issue was with the start switch part number 2CR-83963-00-00. The wires inside the switch was giving a bad connection.
