Iowa State is so pure. That was one of the gutsiest most deserving comeback wins I have ever seen in sports. Iowa State has injuries to 4 linebackers and all Iowa does is run it. Fantastic win for Iowa State. What a ridiculously good game. The ISU defense, WR's, O-Line, and RB are legit. Wow, what an effort. Shut out at half with a defense full of injuries and win on the road in one of the most historically difficult places to win in all of College Football.
I mean they were pushing for their punter to be in consideration for the heisman last year since he was literally carrying the team to their 10 wins usually.

So, I don't think that talent is the issue. Is it offensive philosophy? Regardless, it should be solved. Iowa can be a stronger program than it is.

The team with the fewest chances played as equals to the team ranked number 21 in the NCAA, and ended up beating it in a very exciting final. Congratulations to Iowa State for such a hard-fought victory.🏈
Easy to see that the Hawkeyes "entitlement" psychology lead them to big mistakes in second half. These mistakes let Iowa State take advantage in the second half. And the mentality maintained with less then 2 minutes left in the game with ISU in striking distance lead to the Hawkeyes downfall. Moral: Don't be to up on yourself. Someone will knock you off. Having said that.. Glad to see Cyclones celebrating but surrounded by incredulous faced Hack fans after the big FG that lifted the Cyclones over the Hacks.
Classic McNamara game and Iowa 2nd half offensive collapse. Missing huge open pass plays. He rarely hits those deep passes and they never seemed to be in stride if he does. SMH.
Iowa's first quarter was a showcase in Big 10 football perfection. That was amazing to watch, but they couldn't keep it going. Cyclones played out of their minds on defense, and while the offense sputtered out a good number of times, they got what they needed for a win. This was a classic.
