Upgrade ur phone firmware to latest version before flashing custom rom.

Right now I using last 9.10 version Android 13 build which is nov 3rd . I want to know how I install Android 14 which is cr 10 version, directly flash or need format data ? Because I don't want loss my data 😢

If u r coming previous built u can dirty flash over previous built
If u r switching the ROM clean flash is mandatory
But in ur case all I can say is upgrade ur recovery to orange fox fbe2 before flashing android 14. then flash try it . if not success then clean flash.
