I'm not sure where this was filmed but I saw her during this time in 1995 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. We were on the front row and I was the one she played to in this song that evening. Wonderful evening and I will never forget it--or her!!
If it's any defence, then I think she's scatting for quite a lot of it (especially 2:20 onwards), so if it was perfectly pronounced I think it would be equally difficult to understand.
