I have already plaied this great game I do not see any reasons to play it again only because is remastered. It is a great opportunity for people who never plaied it before.
The better not change the music. Just bring new Aloy into old Horizon no BS. I’ve spent well over 2K hours on the new one. Also hope she shorten times for the bows while sliding and jumping.
I feel they over complicated HFW with all its upgrades, gear, and melee system. I really enjoyed the simplicity of HZD, it was a more focused experience. There is a lot about HFW that I like but I enjoyed HZD much more.
To each their own. Hfw wasnt overly complicated at all. You just have more variety than just using arrows in hfw. You probably didnt experiment enough with the new weapons and techniques or just didnt like them. But its not complicated to stick to what you know. Plenty of playthroughs i can count where they all stuck to using bows. One particular playthrough the player didnt know how to use shredder gauntlets. I.e not catching and reshooting the disc which let to complaining about ammo cost and low damage
Brought the complete edition 2 days ago on the ps4. Installed it onto the ps5 started playing and now the remastered version is out shouldn't I be able to upgrade that for $10 dollars? Or am I missing something? The game is at full price. $75 dollars as I'm in Australia hmmm can anyone help please
But I'm afraid they'll screw up sunsets and the riding control. 😞 We will no longer have beautiful pink clouds illuminated from below the horizon because Sun will disappear above it. And mounts will turn around their centre instead of acting like a real horse as they did in Horizon Zero Dawn. 😞 They did it one in Horizon Forbidden West, they'll certainly do it again. Anyways, I pre-ordered it 0-day. I still have 2 weeks to say goodbye to these aspects.
Sony now making paying for patches and updates a normal thing now, as this will become the horse armour moment that made dlc the norm today......5 years from now $20 patches and updates will be a thing, and if you don't patch the game will no longer work, because you own nothing digitally.

The Horizon series is a much more valuable asset to improve than focus on yet another Soul’s clone. And with the knowledge gathered they can better improve other games as well. So many games copy fighting mechanisms, like perfect parry, and fill the need for addictive gaming. Your needs are being met all the time. Go complain somewhere else.

everyone always talks about the foliage improvements of FW, am i the only one who was distracted by the glaringly obvious grid that could be seen from any height in FW?! it wasn't nearly as apparent in ZD
@@geoffdb8118 the grid lines that the devs mapped the foliage to. Seen most plainly on mostly flat terrain (as opposed to forests or mountains with very sparse foliage), you can see the even lines that grasses, bushes, and patches are arranged on. I noticed it like immediately on my first playthrough so I'm pretty sure the first place you can see it is in the daunt iirc (it's been a while)
I have about 400 hours in Forbidden West, never ever noticed anything like what you describe. Still, it might well be there, but it’s clearly not anywhere near as obvious as you claim…
The PC version of Zero Dawn is almost a different game than on console. The Remaster is to make it look more like Forbidden West. Is more vibrant you say. That's true. But the vibrancy does make it look less real. The colors appear to be one color or another. There is less gradation. That said I prefer the look of the original on the PC. Ref: "Horizon Zero Dawn - In Widest FOV". I prefer this wider field of view. If the Remaster does not offer this I'm out. And let me point out, It is very consumer unfriendly to remove the original from the stores.
From what I’ve seen (and read) graphics now look gorgeous, not fake. They hand-crafted these changes, with Meridian, face animations etc. etc. getting a well deserved makeover. They kept the intended mood of environments. Widescreen support has also explicitly been mentioned.

Well, that's for the ones that already played the game. For people that haven't yet it's a big upgrade, at least for me I got the game for 13 USD + 6 USD (Peruvian currency). So I think is worth it. Of course, if you haven't played it yet.

You don’t have to buy it or play it. It’s not made by Guerilla themselves but by Nixxes dominant taken time and resources from other games. It’s there for people who want it. For me, it’s a great excuse to play one of my favourite games ever again. And it’s only 9.99. So the question is more: What are you complaining about?

The remaster no one asked for. Finished them both a few months back and can't understand the need for it. They could've just update Aloy's 3D model to look like the actress they 3D scanned.
As long as my current saves work with it then I'm fine. I don't want to go through all of that mod farming again.

2k Hours? With all due respect, and genuinely, HOW with such a title? Perhaps as ambience and the world?
Also keep the long dive intact from the original. Long dive was removed for HFW and it felt really bad imo.

I think the changes are mostly graphical, along with some QoL changes like auto pickup

I didn't ask for it, but I still want it. I haven't played the game in years, and I'm excited to jump back into it. For $10, it's a no-brainer.
