    thank you. great explanation of where and why for different glues. guilty here of using gorrila and super glue in the wrong area. thank you sir may i have another.(animal house scene) not again and luckily was my guitar. next time around ,, kindling.

    gorilla glue is a great adhesive for mixed media art crafts, when you need something to expand to fill a space that you can't otherwise reach with a shim. i can't imagine using anything but titebond for wood--like, it's literally called "wood glue" for a reason.
    i am curious though, about the difference between the version numbers of titebond. i thought they were roughly similar, with some added mediums/conditioners.

      1 is the normal stuff, 2 is water resistant, 3 is water proof. I think there are other properties to 2 and 3 but the only one that should be used on guitars is the original tight bond 1.

      @@DrewsGuitarShop is that because the water resistance properties might impact the natural movement of the wood?
