    R.I.P. Dino Danelli. He has been called "one of the great unappreciated rock drummers in history". He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 with the Rascals.

      At least they were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. One of my favorite groups ever along with CCR and 3 Dog Night
      It's a travesty Tommy James & Shondells are waiting since 91 to get in.

    If you love the Young Rascals, you'll also love the Soul Survivors' "Expressway To Your Heart" -- which peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1967. They were another blue-eyed-soul group and sound nearly identical to the Young Rascals.

      @@amb6899 True, reactors rarely do under-the-surface gems -- and there are so many of them (another is 1967's "Little Bit O'Soul" by the Music Explosion). They would need somebody knowledgeable of music history to feed them the songs.

    Hello Shawn n Mel from Ned in Spain. You guys are so lovely, especially when your reaction relates to your feelings for each other. Congrats on 16 years and many more. Those Rascals had a whole lotta soul. One of my favorite things about this song is that bass doing those twisty walking lines I think by guitarist Gene Cornish on double duty. They were all so talented and knew how to write grown up songs of love, admiration and heartbreak as well as ripping rockers.     Hey Shawn and Mel. The Rascals were an early example of so-called "Blue-Eyed Soul' I saw them live here in NYC back in the day and they were great! If you were in a cover band like I was, you had to do some Rascals songs. So glad you reacted to this one and keep on doing your reactions. Peace.

    The Rascals were great musicians as well as singers .I saw Felix Cavalieri (lead siger, keyboard ) in 1987 Grant Park Chicago with Tommy James { Both were doing solo gigs, great show!
