What really set this ride apart at the time in the 90’s is that it was so smooth compared to the Great American Scream Machine. There were no other smooth thrill coasters in the park. Waits for Batman were consistently over an hour.
Got to ride the original Batman at Great America back in 07, it was very intense haha I was on a grade 10 band trip with highschool ! Great times
Must be a cool experience from the front. From anywhere else on the train, it's particularly freaky because the inversions are SO whippy and you can't see them coming. Hard to believe the design is 30 years old.
I rode it on the third row it was intense
