Agreed. I was stuck having a major panic attack and had an airway swell but couldn’t get to the hospital. I now have agoraphobia and had to quit my job. But the protesters sure felt good and brave about stopping traffic.

I very much doubt this was a legal gathering to protest. A permitted protest doesn’t block the highway leading to an airport. This is an illegal gathering that is as problematic as the Jan 6 riots. Peaceful permitted gatherings to protest are freedom of speech. Yelling fire in a crowded theater is NOT.

Someone actually expected Chicago officials to have anticipated what would happen. The problem with that line of thinking is that it would have taken at least 4 officials together to come up with a combined IQ of 95 to make a descent decision as to what to do about the protest. Well if their IQ's were 20 then I guess it would have taken 5 officials.
People should sue the protesters for missed flights, etc. and their financial losses and time lost. Find out the organization they are part of and sue.
