It’s unbelievable that the needs of the people have been ignored for decades, and then migrants who come here illegally, they are concerned about, and putting millions of dollars towards housing and keeping them fed, providing shelters, when the people of this country are basically left to fend for themselves when they have a problem with housing and evictions and jobs that pay a living wage. There IS a south side community group who has taken the same stance, and they were the FIRST to sue the City of Chicago and stop them from putting the "illegal immigrants" in their community. This west side group saw that and took a page from their book. Search for the coverage on RUclips. It's there! This west side community group has gotten more media coverage because mayor Brandon Johnson is from that community and the people have voiced their feelings of being betrayed by a man that they supported to become the mayor. Lol 😂 I wish people would look up a full length rally of his from back in 2015 and watch it (no media spin that way!) & just pretend they have never seen or heard of him before. He’s literally what we need for us & our kids security here locally in our cities & at our borders, more jobs/more manufacturing jobs, LEGAL immigration (removing illegals), removing wasteful gov’t spending & give us tax breaks, keep us out of wars, repairing the economy so we can all just afford to live, be good neighbors for a change & be able to enjoy watching our kids grow in safer places. I use to be a Republican. I’ve been an Independent for about 15 years now. I’m moderately conservative like Trump. He’s not “extreme” or “far right”. I can’t stand Democrats or 90% of the Republicans. But, there’s about 10-20% of Republicans that are really trying to give us “America” back you know! 💕 I wish we could get back to the 80’s kind of America where life was pretty good, simple, & we all would have fun & actually laugh not worrying about if someone is offended. But unlike most politicians who fake it & lie to your face about what they did or didn’t do (or get caught doing) in their past, Trump owns up to his past. It humanizes him. We all have our sins & it’s nice to at least see someone’s out front instead of the outright hypocrisy we usually see, you know? That’s how I see it. And I also hated to see Melania get treated so horribly. She’s absolutely gorgeous!!! And, she speaks multiple languages, immigrated legally, and became a US citizen. She’s literally what the American dream is all about and I wish more people would have spoken out for her. It’s just so sad to me the state of our country that we can’t appreciate her story.
