the problem I am having with mine is I bought two remotes to run two strips of lights. each its on its own battery so they are separate but for some reason both remotes will turn on and off just one of the light strips and the other one does not respond to either remote. not sure what to do ! do these remotes latch on permanently to just one receiver they first find or is there a way for me to reprogram one of the remotes to control the light strips on one and the other to control the other? I would be fine if both controllers turned both lights on but what is happening is only one light strip responds.
Hi I have the BTER 17 button RF remote. Looks a lot like yours but only 17 buttons. I am using them in jersey acrylic boxes. I got multiple of them and they’re all using the same LED system. Unfortunately they are not on different channels so one remote controls them all and with that I cannot turn one jersey box/set of light strips to one color and another box to a different color because when I go to change to a different color on the one box it changes all the others the same. Do you know how to reprogram the remotes to only work with one of the boxes and a different remote with only one of the other boxes?
Hi B. maverick, not sure if it is possible, the rgb controllers have a chip for the frequency soldered to the controller and you can not get them to work on different frequencies. I have the same issue here with 4 gaming PC's in the same room and it gets hard to make changes
@@JeffreyMaysjmmods I have watched some on U tube that had same change needed but a different maker of remote so didn’t work for mine as was just a different maker.
It worked for them when they had 4 remotes. Can’t believe there isn’t a way since they were able to with theirs. Just need the have the correct button pushing to reset
Which controller kit is this I ordered one that has a big box with two ports for leds but won't fit in my 3d printed sign. I need that that little low profile controller kit
I sale them on jmmods, it is an in-line controller for 5v addressable rgb strips. When you buy them from China etc they have a large power connector on them so I de-solder them and wire in a sata power connection, I can also wire them to usb if u want to use cell phone charger etc for power.

However, I bought a 30led/m strip and used it inside the fans, but the case still 60 leds type.But now, my fans don't show "all the colors at once whem I pause it. Don't know if you get what is going on, but is this a led "density" difference problem or is it something I can fix using the controller? Thanks
Hi I am not really sure what could be the problem other than there being 2 different style of strips. 8 have mixed strips in the past and came up with color differences and the way they acted together. Just make sure you split up your input so you don't have too much on one header or connection. I think 2 amps of RGB is max for motherboard headers etc... There is info on this on the web. Good luck and hope you get it figured out.
@@JeffreyMaysjmmods You answered faster than I expected haha. Yeah, I am using a 10 ports Hub powered by Sata, directly from PSU. Although the controller is conected on the motherboard, the +5v is not connected on the hub, so I believe (I hope) I will have no issues concerning to "forcing" my mobo. My motherboard has only RGB header, not ARGB, so I needed a controller. I tried to only connect the 30led/m strips and they work the same without the 60led/m. I bought this one thinking they would act exactly the same as 60's ones, but eventually I will buy 60's ones and replace than. I believe that, if the power source is the psu, I won't have much problems considering amps, right? (My PSU is of good brand and has way more watts than my PC needs)
@@FelixOnn1 you should be okay with being powered from the PSU. The only other thing is the 2 different types of strips. Sounds like you know what you need to do and try and keep the same type of strip. Thanks for reaching out and hope you get it figured out.
I am trying to find a way to reprogram the presets on similar controllers but have had no luck. I would like to have 8 individual LEDs on one at a time depending on choice but have option of color and brightness too. Any ideas?

HELP my controller isnt working and when its on show case mode like when i plug it in and press something on the controller it just becomes still and then the controller doesnt work PLZ HELP
try putting it on a solid color and lowering the brightness and see if it is stable to change modes and colors. Sometimes if there is too much power going through the controller it will freeze and act weird. I personally have an RGB sign I made that has a lot of RGB strip on one controller and when the brightness is too bright it will freeze up like that, So I lower the brightness and it works fine.
My remote does nothing. is their anything to fix this. No matter what I press nothing changes with the LEDS

There is just so much one of these controllers will do, The best way is to use the Corsair node pro , That way you can do anything you want.
When I shut it off and hit auto, nothing happens. Did I just get a defective one?
