The looks on this bike are just timeless, so hard to believe this is 30yrs old. Ken you find the good ones. I love these OCD owners that keep these gems looking like day 1.
Oooohhhhh... 😍... In 93, how many teenagers have looked at the clock, and seeing 320 km/h (in Europe), trying to imagine the sensations at such speed... Those wonderful analog times ❤️, how we miss you! ! 🙏🏽

In 93 I had the same experience when I was 13 years old and i see the Suzuki beast GSX R 1100

These was the bike for smack down street races.🔥
Technically the Bimota YB8, then the ZX1100 but it would come down to the rider between any two, until the Busa came out.
93 and the Blade changed everything. I had the 1100 and it was more engine than the chassis could deal with. On the road round the twisties the (then) new Blade would leave it far behind.
I loved the superbikes from the 90s. I was a young teenager and couldn't ride or afford one but I'd just read the magazines and fantasize about owning one. All the latest technology and The color and graffix combos were just so bitching and cool. I think my favorite one from that era is the 1992 Kawasaki Zx7r. It had the traditional Kawi colors mixed with the electric blue and hot pink. And the ram air tubes that went through the gas tank. It was just so bad ass.

I had a 1993 750 and I wanted to upgrade to this exact 1100 color and all. What a time capsule this bike is 👍🏼
4-in-1 pipe sounds SO good. A nice set of saddle bags and I'd take that 300-400 miles with my cupcake no problem.
I just bought one here in the UK, exactly the same colours! Can't wait for summer!!! Paid £3250. An absolute steal 😊

i am in the UK a 51 year old Petrol headi and i own this exact same GSXR1!00 in the same colour it sits along side my Yamaha FZR1000 Exup RU 1992. MY Yamaha YZF 750R 1993 and 2018 Modern MT10 SP. cant beat the old bikes

nice looking 1100 you have there Ken,i had a 86 GSXR1100 it was a missile,100mph in second gear at only 9500 with a 11,000 redline

I had a GSXR 1100 K 1988 what a great bike I used to track days on it until I crashed into a tyre wall and wrote it off!
I bought one new as a kid, i didnt insure it for collision. Gosh i regretted that. It had a monster 2nd gear. I love those big long muscle bikes.

I was the cool guy in my neighborhood with my red/black 85 Ninja 600. Then my neighbor came home with this exact GSXR. Brand new and same paint scheme.
I was immediately dethroned!

I noticed the rear 'bean can' suspension gas reservoir has been put on back to front.
Yes ... I know putting it on the other way has the gas line looking awkward as it's too long...
It has to be tucked away on the right between the two aluminium sub frame bars.
Looks ace though for sure.

shit i remember the suzuki dealer say this is your first streebike lol i raced two-stroke 500cc on the track.. but i gave that 1100 a lot of respect only because i was a teen road racer in England 🇬🇧 it felt slow compared to the 500cc gp bike .but if you don't respect 1100 it will kill you in the end .peace mate 👌
