My wife was in a similar situation as the Bolt in your first match. She hit them with tm devo and they scooped. If you time it right tm devo is basically insta win against this deck. It often has 3-4 candies in play at once and nothing else on the bench to speak of.
Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon lockout (and Teal Mask Ogerpon Grass Weakness) hurts this more than pure Dragapult/Pigeot but I can't deny, the energy acceleration is ALWAYS nice. Zard OP. If this build beats Garde and LZ Box better than pure Dragapult, then switch to a pure-ish build once VStars get rotated and the top 32 look more grass-heavy.
So many sick cooks putting their spin on this deck! Love to see you jumping in and putting this out there. Slick build and I think Rotom still has a lot of utility for this deck.
Hey LDF! Your decklist in the video desc has just a few problems. First, the Pidgey cards are MEW 16, but as is, they automatically switch to Beedrill, since you put MEW 15. Also, the numbers are off for pokemon, trainer, and energy totals, but that doesn't matter as much for the switch to ptcgl. The only other thing though, is the fact that your basic energy is always the rare, holographic versions, and not the regular basic energy
I know cyllene is really good but why not roseannes backup instead? Still gives the energy back as a guarantee and stadium. Youd have to use a pal pad though if you want your other supporters
With normal spread damage decks, you can just put down Manaphy for some protection. The problem with Dragapult ex is that, even if you have a protection like Toedscruel ex or Rabsca AND realize that you are playing against a Dragapult ex deck, sometimes you simply can't evolve to Toedscruel ex or Rabsca fast enough. Pray, pray, pray that the Dragapult ex deck brick 🤪 😛 🤪
Not the easiest deck to pilot--a misplay can be deadly. But jeez, it is powerful when it's working! I'm gonna test it for a while longer. Thanks for posting this one.
I play it very differently tho. No cleffa, pidgeot, rotom, radiants. Most times it’s just too difficult for my opponent. I have 2-3 fully energized board dragapults with a Charizard fully energized. Like everything on my board is devastatingly dangerous. And most times are evolved with stage 1s to protect against devolution. It’s been my secret for some time now.
@@machinronii since this deck is now being utilized quite a bit I can share what did work but I might need to revamp. I used Hyper aroma as my ace spec. And so it made it very easy for instance to get bibbarel and two drakloaks out on my turn two. Not to mention rare candy’s. I had good consistency with dragapult, charizard bibs and two drakloaks on turn two. My charizard and my dragapult fully energized. But I lost a few games finally this week. Close but still losses.
why no switches in it? I tried it Adam furious tbh. Would have won first turn with Draga but my bloody manaphy was stuck in active. And they can bibs trap you in active. Bad list.

Spread damage and devolution is your friend here (late game). I ran a mimikyu against it and they nearly deck out
Great vid as always LDF! Not a huge fan of 3 stage 3’s in one deck (seemed clunky) but hey if it works it works right lol
what's your opinion on the palafin and Miraidon matchup?
I've been cooking up a similar list, but with more zard and less pult.
I really like that you maintain respect for control decks.
I also love this deck. Start the game off with Pult and finish it off with Zard if needed to
Why the jamming tower doesn't work for hero's cape?
Its a glitch

Yeah
I know cyllene is really good but why not roseannes backup instead? Still gives the energy back as a guarantee and stadium. Youd have to use a pal pad though if you want your other supporters
Same reason cyllene is played in chien pao, to grab item cards
Cyllene puts on top of deck, which u can easily grab with draklock or bib.
@marianoalvarez8943 but since u have pidgeot as long as its in the deck it don't matter too much
Nahh cyllene lets you re use cards with drakloak or bib to draw into it, its risky cause coinflip
