Very nice. Would be interesting to see how it performs in more tuff conditions, like after corn (soil fully covered with thick maize straw) or in former swaths of grain.
Really good video. Bit disappointing that the first thing that you picked up on was 'it looking good'. I do think 'if a machine looks right it goes right' is a good general rule. But it isn't how I would have started the countdown considering all the other good features on the drill. Nice to see a wider choice of disc notill drills available in the UK now, the choice is far wider than when I bought our first notill disc drill back in 2012
Hi Luke. I will get a video done on calibration and the fert for you. We have 5 DSX in New Zealand now but none in Australia, perhaps you could be our first?
Hi Jonas, yes the downforce is regulated by a hydraulic block at the front of the drill where the operator can adjust the pressure. This is then delivery by cylinders in the parallelogram
Hi! I really find this drill interesting! Im from southern Sweden, we got really heavy claysoil and lots of blackgrass. Are there any dealers in Sweden for this or do you now any demo in Denmark for this? If the conditions are are a bit wet, don't the wheels compacts the soil too much? Im afraid that the wheels may wake up new blackgrass-seed. Or how much can you lift them when seeding in wet conditions? But really great drill and video, I'd love to se some video of variated seed rate and also how you calibrate this thing. Thanks!
Hi Jonathan, I was in Sweden 2 weeks ago setting up our first DSX which is with a farmer about 1 hour west of Stockholm at Munsö. I have also sold another DSX to a farmer near Eskilstuna which will be delivered in July. I am actively seeking a dealer/dealers in Sweden and I’m bringing the DSX to Borgeby in June.
@@charlieeatonhorizon great response! Yes, I heard last week about Adam Giertta the farmer from Stockholm and his new drill! Hope I will see you and have a chance to talk on borgeby!

Good vid Charlie 👍
Awesome video Charlie,
I’m in Australia and really interested in the horizon dsx, I would love to see how the drill is calibrated! Thanks 👍🏻
I’d also like to see how the liquid fert works also 😁

Great job
So the down force is regulated with a hydraulic zylinder in the parallelogram?

My number is +447852794722 drop me a text / WhatsApp etc, it would be great to learn more about your farm and discuss the dsx in more detail.

Tell us about 10 problems ? 😉
My guess for 1st and 2nd are the price and the lifespan of the opener pivot points.
