  • Easy Floor Plan Render with Enscape + Sketchup Tips
    In this video, I am showing a new feature from Enscape which allows you to create Isometric views, floor plans, elevations or section. It is so easy and simple to use but still is in a lot of detail, from changing materials to adding cars and trees or even spoon on a table. Enscape has it all.

    Great! in the 2.9 version, you can export the ID-materials, so in photoshop it would be easy to select everything.

    hi quick q: why to import from revit to sketchup and not just use revit only ?

    • @TheArchitecturalInsider
      @TheArchitecturalInsider  3 года назад

      I personally dont like how revit exports drawing like sections and elevations, I am not that good with revit materials to be able to do it and adding landscape in revit is also something i havent done. I am much more time efficient in sketchup. I have now build my revit skills and would be able to do this in revit now. Thank you for your comment.

    Hi, I was wondering if you could help me, I'm trying to show a cut-through slice using SketchUp's section tool but it shows black in Enscape do know why this could be happening and how to possibly fix this?

    • @TheArchitecturalInsider

      Hi, there is a few things to try as i also had this issue.
      1. Update enscape so that it has the orthagraphic view if it does then make sure that view is selected.
      2. Some times you need to cut the model to what ever section line you want, there is a sketchup extension called 'zorro 2', this will allow you cut through any model very quickly
      I hope this helps, if it doesnt pls email me and we can try set up a video call and see if i can help that way. Good luck and thank you for your comment.

    Me cleaning up lines: Let me just erase this extra line here, here, and here
    Sketchup face: disappears, oops
    Tries to fill in face, fails, shape suddenly becomes a 8d shape
    Undo everything, *okay let's just hide all these extra lines*
