Conforming your SwiftData objects to Codable

With SwiftData it's relatively easy to define model objects so it makes sense to take a look at making SwiftData models Codable to see if it's better than Core Data. Ultimately, SwiftData is a wrapper around Core Data which means that the @Model macro will at some point generate managed objects, an object model, and more. In this post, we'll see if the @Model macro will also make it easier to use Codable with model objects.

I wonder if this is working for you now. I'm getting the error "Return from initializer without initializing all stored properties" if I don't set movie in required init(from:)

Hey Donny, I really like every content that you create, from blog posts to books, RUclips Videos to Social media posts. The only suggestion that I could give is maybe you can reduce the volume of the music or remove it totally. Much Love ❤

I will experiment with the background music some more. I personally don't like when videos are 100% quiet other than the narrator's voice so I'll probably reduce the volume a bit in the next one, see how that goes. The point of the background music is really just to make sure that the video is never completely quiet if you know what I mean. But maybe it's better in the end if it is quiet, I'll see :) thanks for watching and providing this feedback though! I'm still very much trying to find my way around the camera, video editing and all that
