Hey, Dewie here, if you want more skiing guides and trail POVs, they’ll be posted on this Colorado Plankers channel. Currently, nothing is posted, but I’ll publish a bunch of 4K POVs once the season starts. If this skiing channel finds an audience, I’ll start making detailed skiing guides, instructional videos, and some surprises. I don’t have a lot of free time, but like making videos for others so I’ll put the time in if people want them. First resorts to be covered are Keystone, Breck, and Vail. This channel will be a collab with locals, ski resort employees, and we’ll eventually visit my buddies who have moved to other mountains. Colorado Mallcrawlers will continue to have off-road and overland content.
I must say you are far and away the best guide for ski trails. Detailed, knowledgeable, and understand what the slider needs!,I was reluctant to go to keystone but this changed my mind and can’t wait! Can’t wait to see what other mountains you have filmed!
I appreciate that and I’m hearing that a lot lately… these videos were not popular when I first published them so we made this an off-road channel. However, I’m going to start a skiing channel in the next week and I’ll publish new versions of these videos and start making new ski content. At first, I’ll cover the trails, then I’ll make more detailed guides of all of my heavily frequented mountains. Recruiting my fellow ski instructor friends to be in them with me too. I’ll link the new channel as a pinned post on these videos and make a community post to announce it once I create it. Thanks for watching!
These are great reviews. Maybe the best I’ve seen. We’re going to Breck this winter and deciding if we should do a day at Keystone. We’re sold and this video should help us make good use of our time.
Thanks! I’m going to make new ones on the Colorado Plankers channel and expand to other resorts… it may be slow at first, but hopefully it’ll have a ton of videos like this and more. Thanks for watching!
@@coloradomallcrawlers reservations were pretty smooth. Got our Jan. And Feb. reservations put in the first day. Cant wait to get some time on Mountain! Looking to build my skills up towards the easier black runs, but i’ll be plenty happy to ski as many blues as I can this season.
So, this was an early video before we decided to focus on off-road videos. Just wanted to add a disclaimer, TREES ARE DANGEROUS AND KILL EVERY SEASON. I love trees so I guess I was a little tree happy in this video... most intermediates should not go into the trees. Please be careful, many die every season in Keystone’s trees.
Found this video super helpful and excited to check out some of your tips. Riding Keystone tomorrow for the first time. Soo the Trees kill people comment - is that from flying into them at speed or tree wells? I'm an OK blu rider who has boarded Parsenn Bowl at MJ but you have me a little concerned with your comment bro..
@@MrJoeSixpac my bad, we just have a bit more tree injuries and deaths at Keystone from what I’ve been told. It’s from chest injuries and a result of speed in the trees.
How is porcupine as compared to prospector? I haven't made it to the Outback yet, but so far the hardest blue I've hit was Mozart, and although I'm not comfortable with that yet, I haven't wiped out on it yet!
I think you’ll be fine… Mozart is a tough blue because of its snow quality. I’d say porcupine is similar to prospector yet slightly harder because it’s ungroomed snow (if I’m remembering correctly)

You can see Breckenridge from all peaks!! Beautiful !!! Good video for the intermediate skier!!!
For sure and thank you!
Great video, glad I came across it. I'm heading to Keystone next Sunday for the first time, lots of good info here. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

This is so helpful! Very detailed. Gonna take advantage of this when I go there in Feb. Just praying for more snow 🙏
Thank you! You’ll have a great time!
This is going to be fun! Hopefully there is enough snow this winter (not so much here in Iowa).
I hope so too and have a great time!
Definitely taking advantage of this guide in 2021!! (Provided i get my lift reservations...)
good luck!

Hey fella. Great scenery and advice... Wish I was over in CO rather than the mild and wet UK at the moment 🤙🏻🤠. Chat soon, Ian
Thank you buddy. I get that, but I miss visiting the UK on my end. For sure!

@@coloradomallcrawlers I hit porcupine yesterday. Center was groomed, left and right are moguls
what is that resource from the beginning that shows the different levels
Epic mix app will show you all of that!
Must have been filmed on a weekend there are lots of people there.
Possibly, Keystone can get busy tho.
Can you please do an expert’s guide?
I will on the Colorado Plankers channel… making guides all next winter of Colorado Resorts. Likely combining intermediate/expert guides together.
@@coloradomallcrawlers alr thx!
