- Sexual stereotyping has resulted in anecdotal, nearly mythological beliefs about penile dimensions in men of the different cultures of the world. Most men believe that 6 inches is normal, that people of color own penises of enormous dimensions whereas Asians are tiny. Anthropometric measurements tell a different story. Although there are considerable individual and cross-cultural differences, penile size is normally distributed in men. 6 inches are not average. But in rare cases, penis size may even be 7+ inches in Korean men. Dr. med. Dr. phil. Stefan Buntrock, urologist from Göttingen, starts a new video series on UroChannel, named Penis around the World where he reports anthropometric measurements from all parts of the world, published in the scientific literature. This is a video about penis size in Italy. Are they the largest in the world?

I think nobody should trust self-mesured lenghts, especially in such an area. The most trustworthy mesurements are made by scientists with nothing to loose or gain. Another thing that hasn't been mentioned is if the participants were randomly selected or they seen an ad and participated. Maybe it doesn't seems important, but if it wasn't random than mostly men who were satisfied with their size participated. I think the only people who know the truth are women doing the oldest job.

I think guys from Germany tend to have the biggest, at least in terms of girth, lots of those guys are 6 inches of girth, usually at the base...tapers down to 5.25 girth just below the head.. usually 6-7 length..

uhh Doc, I hate to break it to you but all the recent studies show the Congo and Ecuador for some reason averaging around 7. Africa is No surprise for obvious reasons Duh !?! Ecuador, maybe you could do some explaining on that one, as they seem to be the shorter, browner native type, and not either big white men or big Africans. Italy has been shown to be bigger in Europe but that is said to be from the African invasion into Sicily so this is hardly a surprise or would I say really counts. That said what do you think of France ? I ask due to one of first studies going around the internet showing the French to average around 5.1inches - World average or so, and then a later study showed the French at exactly 6.1. The Inspector Clouseau in me thinks that perhaps some little Froggy...Eh No Wee Wee !? added an inch for good measure against their British and German counter parts !? Could the French be so sneaky as to do this ? Just thought it odd that they increased by Exactly 1 inch. hmmm...
Thank you for your comment. I am well aware of the charts and tables on the Internet comparing the men of the world. Problem is: where do these numbers come from? It is impossible to tell because everyone is copying from each other. No one is citing the source. I am disregarding data like this because I can’t check how they came about or whether they are for real at all. In American men, has penile length in young men born in the 1990s bigger than men born in the 1960s? Would foods enhanced with hormones(foods ingested by mothers while pregnant)cause the longer length?...Thanks
Very difficult question. The only data back in time has been recorded by Kinsey and co-workers. The problem is, that this is -again- self-reported measurements by the men included in the research. Please, when giving measurements, include inches along with metric, I am from America, and do not know the metric measurements, only inches, feet, fractions of lengths, (I.e. 7”, 8 1/2”, 6.3”) etc. I would appreciate your efforts, so is Italy claiming larger or smaller penis’s????
Please rewatch the video and read. It would be far too laborious to actually say numbers in both metrics. Inches are given in brackets.
