Holy Cow, I knew he was talented but he is really showing some organ skills here!
Ujiie-san can make anything sound good. Sugoi!
Chris Smout That's very true Chris 👍

I really like the song selection for demoing this keyboard. Nice sounds
I love all of your interesting demonstration videos, Ujiie!
I love Yamaha synthesizers. Thank you MusictrackJp .')
Love the Tarkus and Jerusalem reference.
A dream for people playing 70's era prog
I definitely think that is by far the best Hammond sound that Yamaha has ever had.
It is
I agree, though still very flat compared to any hammond (including xk series)
Great demo!
How it seems to me... the yc61 - best yamaha synth ... sound is totally great. More better, than montage, tyros-genos, and other. More natural. Similar to the Roland vr-09. But roland have low quality. And have a low price. Need to buy this instrument. Thank you for your videos! Love it. 😍🤩🥳
well, best yamaha synth wouldnt be the YC, it would be the Montage> Yc has a limited synth engine, though technically the organ engine is synthesis. Still though the Montage can get pretty deep. This is an organ focused stage keyboard with a good interface, but the synth engine is limited as of now.
Great!. Many thanks!!!. As always, astounding playing
Very nice demo as always Ujiie-San - so basically, you could go with a MODX7/8 with all it's additional functionality or the YC range depending on what you intend using it for, ex. gigging muso. From my standpoint, I think the MODX gives you the best bang-for-the-buck. Love Yamaha synth & keyboard products, great quality instruments!! 🖐😷👍🎹🍻
@Spud Chuffington jones Its mostly to save weight, nothing wrong with plastic as long as its sturdy. I own a montage, but would gladly like to own a lighter MODX, because of the Montages incredible weight.
You play so good
nice demo! i want to try re-creating korg m1 ‘Organ 2’ on this keyboard
We need a YC 73 and 88 versions. 5 octaves is more often than not, too little to play keyboards properly. Organ?. Fine, but the rest, definitely not.
It's a light gigging-oriented keyboard. Larger CP stage keyboards already exist... Anyway, I'm pretty sure they will release bigger CY versions in the near future.
@@synthfreak291 I hope so. The YC61 action is awful!
This comment aged very well! You got your wish!
i guess it is quite randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch newly released movies online ?
@Derek Juelz i would suggest Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
Yc45dにあったような音も出ると良いですね。独特のビブラフォン、マリンバ、キヌラ、8、4フィートのみのサスティーン、後からダウンロード出来ると良いです。別売りベースペダルも。
7:18 lovely
ピッチベンドとモジュレーションはいつものヤマハのホイールにしてほしかったので、
ホイールとスピーカー内蔵そして最新のGEX鍵盤搭載のバージョンが欲しい。
凄いな...おまけにPCM(?)のピアノとかまで付いてくるという...
“Basic” and “Artist” sound sets? Is there already a new sound set for this board?
Excellent !ガンガン!
ELP sounds are the best!!!!
great demo!
thanks as usual!!!!
What do you think? It's not as good Leslie as vb3-ii but quite a good keyboard for multi purpose convenient use?
my YC61 arrived today!
5 minutes test and I can say that everything sounds really good!
the organ clone is really effective and you can adjust the leslie sim in order to make it sounds as good as the other clonewheels around :-))))
great overdrive sound (3 separates stages of saturation BEFORE leslie sim, no other clonewheel has that)
@@marcoballa Thanks, that's good to hear you are happy with it. Judging from your video history you have a long experience of clonewheels and some affiliation with Crumar/mojo/guido? I have the mini Yamaha Reface YC which i really like but the drive effect is a little weak and seems to sit on top of the sound.
well, yes, I tried ALL clonewheels from 1999 to 2020 :-))))
noone sound like my 1964 Hammond C3 :-))))
but some of them are credible and effective.
I found the only bad point in this YC61: key trigger is not correct for organ.
All other clonewheels had the same problem and solved it with a firmware upgrade, hope Yamaha could solve this issue too.
As you know, with a real hammond, at the very first touch of a key, the sound is produced. Here, with the YC61, you need to press the key till half of its stroke before sound is produced. For hammond players this is a bad limitation (you can not do a lot of things you do with real hammond and others clonewheels).
Anyway...
My preferred is still the HX3 :-)))
@@marcoballa nice. I've never tried or seen a real Hammond so I would probably not notice the small differences. Although I have a Rhodes stage II and am very fussy on those software emulations. I see Yamaha has already done a v1.02 firmware update for the YC61 but I don't think it has anything for key contact trigger. But I take it as a good sign that they have already done an update and hopefully will do more.

最高
Compared yo ck 61 please. Which better for piano/layers lesely organ rotaries and rocky gritty sounds and usr if usb imputs and aux in for backing rytham tracks
Guy is a monster!
That Moog Bass @ 12:02 though
您好,德克萨斯州奥斯汀市,我喜欢您的视频,感谢您的分享
I still think they should had put that cp 88 ,I know they trying to make money but it would been nice on the cp 88
DX ep are superb...!!
Impressão minha ou esta demo foi feita com uma má vontade mesmo?
Those upper mids are harsh.
YC61のデザインがとても古めかしくていいなぁ
Siiiiii, que tecladazo!!!!
Are these voice presets loaded from factory? I don’t see them in the data list in the manual.
go to soundmondo.yamahasynth.com click on "YC" button, search for "Katsunori UJIIE"
So he has uploaded these video sounds?
Just received a YC61!!
Opened it up, took it out, placed it on top of my Korg CX3 2nd Gen, and started playing it YC61.
First off, right out of the box and hooking it.
1. Yamaha, how could you claim this is a "Stage Keyboard" and NOT have silk screening where you pug in on top, facing me???
Working musicians need to set up fast, and it drives us NUTS, to have to keep up going back and forth looking where to plug in?
2. I can't believe no "POLARITY SWITCH!!!!!!!!"
3. The good old Korg CX3 2nd Gen KICKS THE ASS OF THE YC61.
Yes I know the CX3 is not a stage keyboard, but there's a line I can't cross, and that's a Dirty, Smelly, organ sound. Need it.
Return receipt already requested.
Totally, what a piece of trash, nothing else matters if I need to stretch my neck to see which is the left or right line out. And no polarity switch because Yamaha wants to sell their own pedals. Blasphemous!
Mr Crowley sound in minute 12...!!!!!!!!
oh ? good ?!
beatiful but expensive, $2,100 dollars

Banzai Nipon
OK I get it,.....an organ under your arm kind of instrument. Thanks but I prefer my CP4.
Yamaha do fab pianos and electric pianos but just can't nail a hammond b3 imho..Korg sv2 is a far better organ sound..and Nord nails it best
Nord engine is good, but they are not currently top three for organ. Crumar, Viscount, and HX3 are all clearly the better organ engine then Nord has.
🔥💥🔥💥🔥💥🔥🍒🙏🏽
ujie copyright master !!!
Good keyboard but the korg liverpool sound better...😅. Ujiie-san, i have seen every video, top
Korg Liverpool? Really?
The Korg liverpool sounds dreadful!
Booket T.....
