When I was a kid, my grandpa used to make lotus leaf tea, which is said to relieve dry heat. My grandma would also cook grains to make tea, which is said to remove dampness. At that time, I thought nothing was more refreshing than a cup of ice water. Now that I have grown up, I began to love the original tastes of food. Combining all the flavors of ingredients into a cup of tea makes the hot summer light, lively and relaxed!

This channel has taught me how so many plants/fruits we unnecessarily dismiss as food source. I didn’t know wax gourd peels can be made into tea! It’s using all plant product with zero waste. This is a true learning channel. Thank you, Apenji.

Never knew this was how they make it. On a side note, Dianxi is super pretty. Like, okay, I see her picking flowers and stuff, but more than half the time I’m watching her face, not even the flowers. She’s always so serene. And I love how she’s such a capable family woman. I think if she gets married or if she’s already married, her in laws would be / are super lucky.
