Here is a short summary of one of the themes of this video. Quran says: “Allah:there is no deity worthy of worship except he”:The Neccessary life/consciousness,sustainer of life/consciousness.” Wire like neuronal structures that conduct electricity via ions/neurotransmitters in the CNS/PNS possess no attribute of thinking/life and yet that has “randomly” led to life. Consciousness/thinking is an innate idea(“Fitra”)that is distinct from carbon skeleton and yet the materialist scientist believes that chemistry turned into biology via “god of randomness”/”Emergent property”/”law of nature”. Consciousness can only stem from Necessary Consciousness (Allah-one/indivisible/loving/self-sufficient Infinite Perfection).
When Khabib said even if you’re a billionaire, you only gonna eat only one bread, I got goosebumps. This statement summed up all the futility of our worldly endeavors for which we shelve our faith.

According to this definition the prophet (saw) was probably the greatest of all philosophers.

Alhamdulillah. I've been struggling with the compatibility of free will and determinism for months and years now, and I feel like you brothers have helped me get at least an inch closer to the truth. I pray that we can all ask Allah for the entire truth when we get it Him and that our actions make us worthy of it. Ameen.
Very much looking forward to more collaborated videos and would love it if you could get more female scholars/non scholars as well, to understand the views that our sisters have on truth, religious rules, regulations, society, etc. due to our physiological and spiritual differences
I see it as, we have free will, but Allah is not bound by time in the way that we are. He already knew before he created us, what the result of our free will would be and it’s all perfectly compatible with determinism because he created all the factors in the universe, and he can create them to support our free will, even prior to our existence.
As soon as we get our heads around the notion that he is infinite in an infinite number of dimensions and directions, it all works.
We have free will and at the same time everything is predetermined by Allah swt. Yes, this is a logical contradiction. No, that doesn't disprove Islam. Allah swt is not bound by the laws of logic

I like Firas Zahabi. He is knowledgable and has very strong faith. His conversation with his son when his grandparent died is really great. I hope he can write a book, a biography about his life. It must be inspiring to Muslim and non-Muslim as well.

I think a problem is we don’t want to talk about death because of belief and iman is low about the hereafter. We so caught up in this physical dunya.
Actually quantum physics say the opposite of randomness.
According to Schrodinger equation, there is a limit to the information that you can extract of any quantum situation.
So for example theoretically if you have perfect knowledge of some particle's momentum, you will have zero knowledge of its position and vice versa (perfect is measured in planck length, any smaller length is unattainable to the current physics) .
You can't have both at same time.
Half Practically , if you want to know just the exact position of particle you'll need huge amount of energy, and boom black hole.
Black doesn't let any information out of it.
That limits our knowledge of the world drastically, we are very limited.
