    What a nicely produced video, great work, looks like it would have taken a lot of effort. Very clear instructions, if I ever need to refer to this i know i can come back and check it out! Subscribed!

      Thanks cherrieblossoms! I put just under 10k on my triple this summer and boy was that area filthy. I highly recommend taking the cover off and getting the grit out at least once a season. Otherwise, all that grit just gets all over the chain after you've cleaned it. I hope to do a bunch more like it. I've been following you for a little while now and love your videos! If you have anything you want to see covered in the future let me know!

    Excellent video. I recently had the coolant cable get damaged by the sprocket bcoz of incorrect assembly of the sprocket cover. Unfortunately this was done by the service center and i had to give the bike back to get the hose replaced.

      My pleasure DaMaX74! It was fun putting it together. If you have anything else you would like to see covered let me know! I'm compiling a list of videos to make and can always use some new ideas!

    • @DaMaX74
      @DaMaX74 9 лет назад

      ScottyTriple Maybe another idea is to show how one can change the break and clutch lever with aftermarket levers. Simple thing to do, but I guess usefull for some newbie modders 😉.

    • @DaMaX74
      @DaMaX74 9 лет назад

      ScottyTriple Also never saw a video of replacing the rear sprocket of a Striple or tensioning a chain. Maybe you can become the Striple Expert vlogger on RUclips. Videos specific for the Striple riders 😃.

    • @scottytriple869
      @scottytriple869  9 лет назад

      ***** Haha well there definitely seems to be a lack of how-to videos relating to these bikes. I plan to do many more videos specific to the Triumph 675 platform as well as general motorcycle how-to videos in the future.
      I have the triumph accessory clutch and brake levers. I like the idea of doing a video of them, I will add that to my to-do list!

    • @DaMaX74
      @DaMaX74 9 лет назад

      ScottyTriple Superb! I also read that you're planning to make a video about replacing the break fluid reservoir 👍👍in the near future. 'Cause I'm thinking of replacing them also next year or so.
      A few months ago I mounted a radguard from EP. Straight forward, but maybe an idea for again an instruction video 😃. Sorry for spamming your channel 😅. Keep it up!

    Hey ScottyTriple, This was an outstanding walkthrough. I'm getting a 2013 STR as well and will be sure to find this helpful! Did you install the quickshifter yourself or had that done at a dealer?

    • @scottytriple869
      @scottytriple869  9 лет назад

      Thanks TriplePrime I'm glad you liked it! Your going to love the street triple, it is an amazing machine! I installed the quick shifter myself. Triumphs instructions are extremely clear and it's not much harder than what was shown here. Hardest part was finding the part of the harness that it plugs into under the seat.

    SCOTTY! great videos! After changing to the red anodized gear actuator, the clip doesn't seem to want to hold the ball joint on very secure. it's not falling off, but will come apart with a lil tug. clip seems strong and not bent, any ideas? the little foam gasket on the red gear actuator seems stiffer than stock..thoughts?

    I’m late to this video but your quick shifter cable is routed incorrectly! It needs to make one loop under the selector rod.

    Might be "smart" (if you can handle it) to mention to the audience WHY you are removing the linkage for? are you installing a quick shifter? say something for Petes sake...Geezzzz
