Thank you Ankit. Definitely, global warming is a big concern for the people living here. Each and every village in Ladakh depends on the water coming from the glacier in the mountains above them. So if a glacier feeding a particular village disappears then the village would also most probably disappear.
*FAQ : How do you charge your batteries?* I carry a couple of fully charged powerbanks. I then charge all my devices (except laptop) through USB power. Even Canon DSLRs have 3rd party chargers which work via USB. Anker Powerbank : amzn.to/2uTCOLy (India - amzn.to/2vY6Qu6) Canon USB Charger : amzn.to/2h0rGGR (India - amzn.to/2uuAM3p) Anker now sells a 21W solar panel that weights only 400g. I have ordered one and will be using it in my future trips. amzn.to/2eLpGBo (India - amzn.to/2v5r9JS) *FAQ : Can I travel with you?* I enjoy traveling alone. There is a freedom you experience when being alone in the mountains. It is just not the same with other people. So I’m afraid the answer is no. *FAQ : Can we collaborate on videos?* It depends. If you have any specific idea and it is a short project. Then sure, I’ll be interested in hearing what you have in mind.
1:31 - In the year 2007, I was in Leh for 2 months. I remember there are multiple shops on this street selling naan, I used to buy naan from one the shop every morning. Thanks for the time-lapse.
one of the most beautiful timelapses i have seen of leh- ladakh. I can see how much struggle you have gone through to get this output. Hatsoff. Keep doing thiz and inspiring us.
You are awesome. You are also inspiration of many people from now on. It is not a thing to mention you did great work and great artwork for all of us, but the courage you showed , the hard work you have done is commendable. Hats off !!
The most underrated travel channel.... Please Don't think that I'm comparing but after watching your video documentation i feel others videos which i watched are by ametures
I totally understand what you mean. Btw, we all start out as amateurs. I still count myself as one. It is all a learning process, and I have so much more to learn myself.
damn i never thought our country has this beauty as well other than spiti valley. I appreciate your work and can feel that effortless effort of yours to shoot this, dil jeet liya aapne🔥🙌🏼
I visit Leh every year and I feel I have some sort of a connection to this place. There is this weird force that pulls me to it. I really loved your video and I am equally jealous that you could visit in January unlike me. I hope we bump into eachother someday in this land of high passes itself.
Thank you. I got really lucky with the weather this year. I was there back in 2015 as well and it sort of drizzled in Leh back then. Like I mentioned this was the best snowfall in Leh for the last 8 years.
wow !!!! such an arduous effort and moreover , the good point is that , all your efforts came out brilliantly through your work . Great job and keep this up.
+Look Celeb Thank you. Btw, walking is actually the best way stay warm in those conditions (while outside). So it is not as bad as it looks. Check out the other episodes. I've walked much longer in worse conditions ☺
I have just finished watching your Winter in Ladakh series. Hats off to you for the amazing time-lapse videos. How did you manage to shoot in the freezing environment?
I went to Ladakh 2 years ago during the month of July but looking at your timelapse and your new video, I think ladakh is far more beautiful in winters. My next plan would be to travel in winters.
Thank you Aditya. But you should know that the winter weather is very unpredictable. Sometimes you'll get snow like this but au others it will be just dry and brown like in Autumn.
I respect the hard work you have done. I appreciate your dedication towards what you intend to do. best wishes. may god watch over you at every step that you are going to take in cold, freeze winter evenings.
Bro this was amazing. Please do more behind the timelapse videos. Ladakh is just heavenly and you capture it perfectly. I understand the struggle of trying to get the best shots.. The golden hour is amazing. That's why camping is our friend.. I wonder if it's possible to ride a motorcycle around in winter in Ladakh? Im looking into getting spiked tyres and doing that next year.
+Wanderer Thanks Man. I have enough footage for another 5 to 6 videos. The biggest bottleneck is the narration. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it after a few videos. You can absolutely ride your bike in Ladakh during winters. You cannot cross the passes but can definitely visit places along the valley floor. Infact, I had planned to leave my bike in Leh last October for this trip. But then my dad had some health issues and I had to go home. Having a bike would have made my life so much more easier.
India In Motion Yeah heheh.. narration is difficult especially when you're doing professional style videos like yourself. in my vlogs I just say whatever comes to my noggin head. Oh damn that's sad to hear sorry about that man. Let me know when you're doing any snow/winter related trip in the Himalayas next and Ill definitely join you for a segment of it. We could learn from eachother. We are both obsessed with time lapses.
+Wanderer Lol, I don't think what I do is professional. Just learning and practising a few things. I actually want to keep it casual like a vlog, but I didn't shoot any vlog footage on the trip. So I had to go this route. In the future I might do a mix of both. Sure. I hav plans to go to both Ladakh and Spiti next winter as well. I prefer traveling alone. But we can definitely do something short together. I'll look forward to that ☺
India In Motion heheh nice. Humble and talented! 😃 Yeah man I prefer travelling alone too. Its the best. But I mean just for a day or two. If we are both in Ladakh 😃 see you there next winter I'm going to go read your entire website now.
My vwebsite hasn't been updated in years. Good luck trying to find something useful there ☺ A day or two sounds great. Right now my plan is to spend March and April in Ladakh next winter. But plans change all the time. We'll figure something out.
Your video is a treat ... Keep it up bro. I'm impressed with your work. And, yes when in future, if I have to purchase photography gears, I will refer to your links. Thats the least I could support your work.
Thank you for inspiring us all with your passion and effort. Hope to make it to Ladakh someday. There are many reports of attacks by feral dogs of Ladakh, hope this is not true. Stay safe.
Excellently captured... Is it easy to find accommodation in Leh during winters... As in renting a house for a few months? How about water supply? With all the pipelines presumably frozen
great video... been there two consecutive years for trekking. so know vividly about it. but planning to go there once in winter as well to assimilate the beauty
WOW.. awesome photography...and a dedicated person with a creative eye... excellent composition & lighting...plenty of hard work went into your adventure..walking in Leh is not as easy as you say...High Altitude makes it more tiring... can you briefly mention about the camera equipment you used..a bit info on the technical side... Thanks, it was a pleasure viewing this clip 👍👏
Thank you Jaideep. People were blaming Global Warming for the lack of snow in November and December. But then starting from Jan 15th they had almost continuous snowfall for 2 months. So the weather is very unpredictable.
Keep checking my feed for your next video...... waiting so patiently :) I must be one of your biggest fans:) Shanti Stupa is beautiful beyond words. Another great one.
+Bee Rhabit Just a few more days. I'll be in Manali on Saturday and then hopefully you'll see regular videos from me. I took a loan and got an iPad Pro so that I can edit my videos while camping and upload them whenever I find internet. So hopefully I should be more regular with the videos this time.
Our India is very beautiful and we are blessed, we should travel to indian places rather than foreign and support our indian economy
One Russian proverb is there "if u unable to tour the world, you can tour india otherwise."
Yes please visit chennai and tamil nadu. Very beautiful and cultured people.

I’m completely addicted to your videos.. it feels like I’m travelling along with you..
Wow one of the best timelaps..
we need to fight to global warming and save this beauty..
Thank you Ankit. Definitely, global warming is a big concern for the people living here. Each and every village in Ladakh depends on the water coming from the glacier in the mountains above them. So if a glacier feeding a particular village disappears then the village would also most probably disappear.
