I got this type of valve tester , unfortuanally , the pilot licht is broken . These bulbs have a carbon fillament so i cant use a modern one . so if there is anyone who knows where to get a oldfaschon type carbon pilot, fuse lamp ....
Your tube tester needs a #81 bulb/fuse. You can find these bulbs on eBay. Try to find an original new-old-stock bulb. I own two of these testers. With a proper calibration, this tube tester is wonderful. You should be able to find a calibration video on RUclips. Good luck.
If his meter is like mine, oooh. The meter has stamped onto it "Vacuum sealed" Well I had no choice as the meter stopped working correctly was getting hung up. Carefully cut into it with a 25mm diamond wheel and freed the needle, was hoping possibly the meter backer flexed over time. Well no such luck as it reads 72 ohms like my working meter does however just acts hung up internally.
For a museum piece, that's in excellent condition. I enjoyed watching this. 😊
Very good, how much watts shouls be the 250k shunt resistor with a modern multimeter? Thanks
Nice video, nice tube tester! Thank you for sharing.
Should take meter apart and straighten the needle.
Great. Is that meter indicator supposed to be bent like it is ?
Nope!
