With the recent announcement from Ironhide regarding the 5th and most likely final installment to the Kingdom Rush franchise - Kingdom Rush Alliance I decided to share some additional info that you couldn't get by sipmly watching the teaser.
From Denas's disappearance, to Vez'Nan teaming up with Malik, Gerald, Mirage and everyone else, from the return of the old engine used in the first 3 games to the misterious nature of the Overseer, this video has it all covered.

In some ways i liked the new style of KR vengeance, but i think going old school will feel pretty awesome and nostalgic. Perhaps by using a familiar engine, they could pump out more levels. At some point quantity starts to become an issue for me, i dont want to play the same levels 10× over...

yea, me too, please dont have too much grinding. Maybe some "alternate" levels with endless waves for playability. That would be awesome, and also some of the goldshop items for when you have maxed out everything.
Nice work. I think the world map will be what we can see through the portal at the end of LOKR. An alien world.

Iron Marines x Kingdom Rush???
Hope it is not like vengeance that we get a bunch of towers that are set in stone as one path. I miss how in kr, krf, and kro that once a tower is reaching a final transformation, you can choose between one of two paths.
I actually want kra to update with a branching path of three to add a huge diversity of tower types.
That would be awesome!
Towers and differnet setups is for me waaaay more interesting than new heroes.

I figured part of the KRA map would include the origins map considering that’s where Vez’nan opens a portal to the overseer in legends

My guess is that KR Alliance is probably going to be a sort of prequel tie in to Iron Marines Invasion. During the Overseer battle on Invasion, the Overseer literally referenced LOKR as a past tense, having to encountered 'Heroes and Legends' before, plus the primitive swords embed on its main eye. It either implies KR universe succeeded, or lost against the Overseer, prior to the events of Iron Marines Invasion.

I honestly loved the vengeance system of just a bunch of tower for you to create you own loadout lol
I think it's vez'nan with the legends team, with Gerald and asra being the main people who communicate with vez'nan on the alliance.

This video makes so many assumptions that we have no confirmation on. Just cause it uses the engine of the original 3 games doesn't mean that it won't be similar to vengeance. They can change and rework the engine to fit what they need. I don't see why they would shift away from the multiple towers and paid towers concept when it both provides the opportunity for more unique towers and a way for them to make more money (which might sound greedy, but they're literally a company with many employees, they need a source of income).
I feel like this video is gonna end up doing more harm than good because it's setting up expectations and stating things that are fact that we don't have any solid evidence on. If it ends up having vengeance's systems then people might end up getting upset if they believed this video was saying factual stuff.
I was trying to be as realistic as possible, but I do agree that everything said should be taken with a grain of salt
I think later on the community manager explained in discord that it would take the Vengeance approach to towers. I could be wrong as I didn’t see it myself but multiple people said they did. I personally would love the original way to towers but in just hoping that if it does take the Vengeance approach that they will let the towers take 2 different upgrade paths. That’s the pipe dream
I hope we still get to use multiple different types of towers, definitely something I liked about vengeance

So for #10, how about an alliance between veznan and iron marines, because in iron marines invasion they fought the overseer but didnt kill it

KR Vengeance was my favorite ( I know its controversial but you could have dozens of tower combos and there was way more replayability as a result of that!)

My favorite kingdom rush game was vengeance. The only problem with it is the infinity amount of money they want for it.
I suggest buying the games on steam...

I personaly dont think, that the story will be around veznan s tower. Because the final comics was in elven lands, that means in origins. So it would take place there or in overseer dimension. But amazing work for video, I liked it

My theory is that we'll see King Denas in the background somewhere imprisoned, or maybe even serving the Overseer as Vez'nan is their common enemy

I feel like the game is gonna take place in the main continent (so pretty much the same area) OR the Elven continent again, since Veznan did tell magnus to summon all the generals that means they're all going to The First Elven City

Okay so, "fact" 1 turned out to be false. I'm happy for it, though, because the Vengeance tower system was honestly way more interesting IMO than what we'd gotten until then.

Ngl i did forget that these games require a LOT of art compared to a pretty simple game design when it comes to progreamming. Damn near every single level has its own layout, and the enemy's animations, good lord I hope those 6 artists get paid well for their work >-> cause that is a TON of it

I am looking into things purely from lore perspective, but you can never be 100% sure what will happen
Denas walking in the infected lands suffering but later on discovering the weakness of Overseer but they need to bring back Denas trust either by helping or small mini boss
You know, they should let us help them in some ideas.
Maybe the map will be the whole map from KR 1,2 and 3 or they won’t add that just my predication btw

Also next to simmilarities to vengeance is missleading as many beta testers stated that it will have mix of many game elements

Okay you should probably clarify if these are facts or not cause some of these seem made up
Pretty much the only thing that's a fact is that the game is using the old ENGINE!
It does not mean it will be in any way more similar to the first 3 games, the engine matters to the developers only.
And he spread that fact over 3 separate points.
Everything else is him guessing.

1. In the PC map of KR and KRV we can see under veznan's tower (south-east) a big red Palace look's like it's made of Fire...
In combination with the part
in the Video (2:32) we saw a portal between the overworld and may be another dimension i think this could been a little part of an big puzzle

And Moloch? In his level we could see how Veznan was stucked in a cage right of his throne... that means them wasn't Friends at this time.

with an epic Ritual?? then them are going to be friends and have to beat another creature?? I mean the creature in the logo of KRA doesn't looks like an good guy...maybe its so strong that the bad have to fight against the bad???

The Overseer is the games final boss and comes from an opened portal by the unnamed cult from the heart of the rifts of cinder (next to Vez'Nan's tower). Vez'Nan will form an alliance with all the heroes he had captured throughout his conquering over Linirea and they will try to close the portal after which they might travel to the Overseer's dimension and finally defeat him in his own land. For more clarity expect a lore re-cap and a trailer coming next week.
