Not all heroes wear capes. Amazing editing and you Deep dived into the game like no other. I really enjoyed the details so much in regards to the geography and timing of the events.!!! Guys doesnt the overseer look familiar? From an game called "iron marines invasion"? In the stage "that thing in the doorstep" we fight an enemy like the overseer alongside the herald
I played a different defense game, and in that game, they did 2 things I found interesting: 1. Tower stacking: you can build 2 towers in one spot, on top of each other, improving each other's functions. It could have been better made however, like granting brand new upgrade/ability combinations; that'd be wild. I find that perfect for this new title, since the theme is "Alliance", or helping each other. 2. One of the towers, once fully upgraded, will uproot, and you can move it around like a hero unit, a moving tower, leaving behind an empty spot to build something else.
In my opinion, I dont think it is disappointing. They said they wanted to introduce new characters in this game (and I will gladly take the Dark Knight waifu over Alleria), considering that heroes like Gerald and Bruxa already appeared in LKR. There's the daughter of Dante and Lucrezia, there's Denas and Beresad (atleast in the lore aspect), and there's the fact that the game will receive new campaigns after the launch, so the possibility of them returning isnt 0... But even if they do not appear again (because most are hiding from tax evasion, according to the devs), I'm sure that the game will make up for it
It's sad of how they didn't added back the rain of fire or even soul impact probably because it will be easy like imagine having the reinforcements, the 2 hero abilities, and the rain of fire or soul impact but it would be cool if we can choose to ethier have the rain of fire or soul impact and they both get their own separated upgrade tree
i always hated that on pc you only get alot of heroes only after you finished the campaign, by then you nearly finished the whole game anyways and it doesnt matter anymore , so its kinda pointless to then give heroes if one isnt replaying the levels
I just don’t like the low amount of lvls I feel they are a bit lazy to make a game worth atlest 26-28 lvls would be fair since game is single player campaign and when u finish it u don’t have anything new to play idk

I agree on the endless mode but the encyclopedia can be useful but like vengeance the more you play you just won't need that cuz you can read every time and remember their traits or weakness (just my opinion)

teleporting a blocking tower is a really cool idea! Especially in the early game when most tower spots are empty
