The entire client portal system is in it as you saw in the video & any updates I make as I continue to make my own version better. 😁 So the 'housing' structure is there plus all the guidance & instructions, and placeholders for where to record your own videos (welcome videos, 'how to use your portal' training video for clients, etc). cool thank you! I'm very much considering buying because I agree Dubsado sux for project management and Notion's the only thing that comes close to everything I'm looking for@@launchthedamnthing
Dang girl, you nailed it :) I'm an old "grandma" web developer and web designer; I started as a "webmaster" when Wordpress wasn't even around yet LOL (that term "webmaster" is not even used anymore, that tells you how old I am lol) Back then, early 2000, my dad was telling me to find a "real" job because he didn't understand what a website or even what internet was LOL. But despite being a dinosaure in the web industry, I'm still learning and I'm always happy to learn from other smart women out there :) Like you I have a pretty extensive and detailed process / portal for my client projects in ClickUp which I continually update but I picked some neat little tips here and there in your video. I also wonder why you don't use ClickUp Doc as opposed to Google Doc? In ClickUp doc you can embed any ClickIp lists/tables which can act as database for your different client data entries. Maybe something else I'm missing?
Thank you @laredt !! 😁 I'm glad you found some golden nuggets you can apply to your own process; I do the same thing -always looking for ways to improve things. 😃 As for why I don't use ClickUp Docs in the ClickUp version of my portal: the short answer is I tried it & it felt clunky so I opted not to for a few reasons. The long answer is, I started with the whole portal in Docs rather than lists, but 1) duplicating them wasn't easy (re: automations - I have a Zap that creates a new portal in ClickUp when my website projects have a signed contract) & 2) it was cumbersome to go in & edit the few things that change between clients, 3) embedding tasks didn't work the way (back then) I wanted. It just felt very clunky and the formatting of the page was harder than it was in Notion's docs & Google Docs was the closest I felt I could get to Notion's formatting & client familiarity bc let's be honest, ClickUp has a steep learning curve in comparison to either Notion or Google Docs. lol Plus, ClickUp had just announced v3.0 "soon" and I was unsure what would be changing, so until I found out I decided to put it in Google Docs so at least I'd have a template pack to share by itself if/when needed, outside of ClickUp. Since I also have this template for sale on my website in either the ClickUp or Notion version, it's easier to share a link to the Google Doc folder where these Docs live, rather than a ClickUp doc. --That said, now that I finally have v3.0 I've been toying with bringing the docs back into ClickUp to keep the info more contained, but need about 5 more of me to actually get that done. 😂
@@launchthedamnthing Makes sense, Yes I do a bit more manual work I guess to adjust between projects...I can't wait for 3.0, Lucky you lol I've been on the list since February and I'm dying to get my hands on it, each time I refresh Clickup I cross my fingers for it to change magically LOL
@@laredt hahaha! I haven't figured out their system of who gets access vs who doesn't & when, but I've had it for about a month now. I'd been on the waitlist since at least February, maybe even fall last year when they first announced it. I just got an email from them one night that said I'd been granted access, and when I checked my account the next morning it asked if I wanted to switch over. So it won't be "magic" -you'll have some warning! 😃
HAHAHA! Not quite that soon; I'm wrapping up tutorial videos & sales page stuff this week, so I'm getting VERY close. 😁 Good luck with your client! -You've got this!
Ha! Dodan, ya caught me before it went officially live. I've just added it, but here's the link too: launchthedamnthing.ck.page/portal -thanks for watching the whole thing, that was LONG. I'm impressed. 😄

Sweet baby cheeses, this is incredible! I knew this would be good, but you exceeded expectations!
😂 ROFL --I literally cackled at "cheeses" 🤣 So glad you're pumped about it too!! I think it's the tits. LOL
hey your whole process except the brand personality workbook is included in this? or is it just the template?
