I've been in TDC for so long and haven't checked your Notion videos yet - LOVE! Thank you for helping me build a dream space in Notion for my biz and understanding how I can have it uniquely work with my choice of tools!
Hey Sarah, I bought the template through GumRoad but was disappointed to find that the Pricing is a basic table and not a linked database. Have you found a way to share pages with clients that have locked filtered views? I.e. Can you send them a proposal that includes a linked database of your pricing page, filtered to show the items you're proposing, without letting them delete those filters to see all of the information contained in your master Pricing database? Problem: I am trying to create a master database called 'Master Project Schedule' with a column for 'Client Name'. When I build a proposal I am including a linked database that is filtered by 'Client Name'. The issue is that even when both the master database and the linked database are locked with all editing permission disabled, Clients can still delete the filter for 'Client Name' and see my entire 'Master Project Schedule' which includes the names of other clients. Wondering if you've run into something similar or could share any advice!? I've scoured the internet and can't find a good solution! Thanks in advance.
How do you feel about tacking on a fee to the monthly payment if a client chooses to go with a payment plan? Like for instance, the total cost is $3000 if you pay regularly (50% down and the remaining at hand-off) but if you choose to go on a payment plan, there's an additional $100 tacked on each month that would up the actual total cost to $3600 for a 6 month plan?
I don’t feel comfortable penalizing my clients who need a payment plan and charging more. I do give a discount for paying in full which is pre-added into the amount so I don’t really lose money.
Awesome proposal - love it! BUT... I built all this out and now I don't even see how this is a legal binding document? Where/how is this agreement sent to us and the client? Do you manually turn it into a PDF and send to the client?
That's my issue with this approach as well. Have you figured this out? I'm wondering how to slap a signature on this and produce a PDF that's sent to the client. Or something along those lines :)
@@SaraLoretta but the form app you suggested doesn’t create a hard copy with the signature so it can’t be legit as the agreement could be edited. BTW been loving your videos and how tos! Congrats on the big shift - you’re fucking killing it!
Do I mention Paperform in this video? Might be time for an updated one if not. Paperform in their software provides an uneditable time stamp with every submission. So let’s just say the client is that horrible and alters something in the pdf copy, you do have a hard copy that can’t be altered in Paperform. I had two lawyers approve this process. It can be used. Thank you!
Is this template included in your Notion for Designers Template Product? Thank You!🙏👍THis one looks a bit different from the one I see in that product.
Yep! I just duplicate and update the info as needed. If you check out my most recent video, I share the backend of my Notion account, so you'll see how I manage clients and all of their documents including the proposal.

@@SaraLoretta yea, I feel you.
I’m a new subscriber so you may have mentioned this another video but what made you choose squarespace as your website builder over other builders?
I don’t know if I’ve ever shared why actually 🤔 basically I use it because it’s easy for my clients to manage after we launch!
Thx

You can accept a digital signature and time stamp using a form submission. My lawyer approve it.

@@SaraLoretta Ah yes, an updated one would be great!

Actually i think i found it!
Yes! It’s been updated since this video in the bundle 😂
Hello! So when sending this proposal out to different clients, do just duplicate it and customize it, or is there an easier way to do it?
Yep! I just duplicate and update the info as needed. If you check out my most recent video, I share the backend of my Notion account, so you'll see how I manage clients and all of their documents including the proposal.
@@SaraLoretta Okay Perfect, Thank you so much!
Nice video
Thanks!
Thanks this was incredibly helpful! Do you connect the Chilipepper form to your email?
I do yes! So I know when I can start putting all of their onboarding together
you calculated 560 instead of 650 - 150, but other than that, great Video!
you look like jess from study with jess
