Awesome hike and trip for both of you! Doing that trip in July is usually unheard of! Nobody does that hike in the summer in Palm springs. Congratulations to both of you! Please post more videos when you have them. Thanks so very much for sharing them.
Thanks @johnsKeith. I think I've got 100+ videos posted, so there are a bunch to sift through. Including some more adventures with Dax here that you can look for - paced him thru the end of his first 100 miler - first 200 miler and trip on the iconic Backbone Trail in the Los Angeles area for starters.
Dax's quote right around 42 min "I never thought I could climb that much...." ..... fast forward 4 years later and he is 3rd place at Cocodona. Never underestimate the power of your mind and the Fulltiltward Turbo Boost. Keep Hammering!!
So funny just googled for Cactus to Cloud and was pleasantly surprised to see your face pop up Kerry! Let's get a run in soon, next time you're in LA. Cheers
Great inspiration video! I watched this after doing the climb as a noob. But really more or less as an "office chair" type as you mentioned in the early part of the footage. For me, this was a very demanding hike. Looking back, I would not attempt it again without significant training. Knowing the mountain now, I highly respect your capacities. I would like to thank you for the leadership you offered Dax. You make a great buddy!
Awesome job! Congrats to both of you. Very inspirational and I need to train to do this. I'd like to hike up and then take the tram down. Congrats again. Thanks for sharing.
My version of c 2 c is trying to get up the stairs after a whisky or two. :) loved every second of this, plus your canyon vid with the moustaches and the I'll fated thunderstorm, which I watched just before this one. Both the quality and quantity of your adventures are awesome. Looking forwards to some of your more longer adventures in the future. Thanks Kerry. Peace out. X
So glad you are enjoying some of this content, Mike. Quite a few more long form videos should be out in the coming months. In the can - just need the editing done.
Funny to hear Dax say his longest run is 10 miles in this video having just seen him win the Kodiak 100 in your other video. Dude's one-off that's for sure 🤘
Great video. I love San Jacinto. Used to do the south back and forth and the museum 4 or 5 times in a row. Only went up to 5k but did a bunch of times. I even lived on the mountain sometimes and spent tons of nights on it. Great memories- thanks.
Nice Barca top! Makes me think I should be rockin' my Tottenham Hotspur shirts on the trails/roads over here in the UK (that might be inviting trouble though! ;)
Have you ever met David Goggins at an event? You both are so inspiring to me, but with very different approaches to conquering obstacles. Just wondering if you had any insights.
I need to grab that last C, I hit the walk after C2C 🤦🏻♀️. Can I be the next noob when you guys do C3 again, I love the positive energy flow, Im an ultra runner so I can get down with trail running the descent. Great job, I want to join the next!
Kathie, we are always looking for people to get out onto the trails with. If you made it to the top, that is the 'work' part of the deal. Getting back down is letting gravity do its thing.
He offered plenty of excellent info about the trail. How about instead whining go and make your own videos if you don't like his format. Making demands that he not talk about his life and friends is plain arrogant. You clearly aren't in the trail running community or else you wouldn't be acting like such a dick head. Run along - or rather hike along Muppet.
I just did Cactus to Clouds to Cactus (not running) Impressive as hell you did it that fast in July! You two are legends in my eyes!

Love your running videos!! I find them inspirational and makes me want to run more.
Another true adventure run! Nice to see the difference between trained and not so trained... he held up nicely though :)
Those cacti are no joke. You guys a friggin ANIMALS!
Would have loved to see some footage 'the day after'. Dax trying to walk down some stairs.... :P
Great documentary again.
Awesome job! Congrats to both of you. Very inspirational and I need to train to do this. I'd like to hike up and then take the tram down. Congrats again. Thanks for sharing.
It’s very funny to see your running partner at the end of the day 😂 and you smiling!!! Thanks for this new video!!!
This is the most thorough hike. Great video. I needed to see the scenery .
Very happy to see a new adventure from you. They are super motivating. Looking forward to the next one. All the best.
Another Great Adventure! Indigo is beautiful as usual! Dax did awesome!
Congratulations to Dax. Awesome job hanging in there.

Excellent. Looking forward to it. :)
Cactus to “Crowds” in late July? Dang!

Jax is such a trooper. What a great run, thanks for sharing!
Awesome! I am thinking about doing C2C and taking the tram back down with my 2 year old. :)
Your videos are awesome! Thank you so much and please keep them coming!
You are so lucky having that nature to yourself!
Nice Barca top! Makes me think I should be rockin' my Tottenham Hotspur shirts on the trails/roads over here in the UK (that might be inviting trouble though! ;)
This is like a 50 minute selfie.

I have not met him previously. It would be fun to do that, though.
i’m thinking of hiking the San Jacinto summit via Marion and Taking skyline trail down to palms springs...
Enjoyed every moment of watching this video
Indigo is a loyal daughter to her father. Nice to see that play out so often on these runs.
Yes. She is the best. We are very lucky.
Fantastic, guys! Well done!

Your videos are awesome!
Keep the videos coming man!
Great video!
You are one supporter the football club Barcelona?
The best team of the World!
Visca el Barça!
Why keep the camera on your face the majority of your time
ok. maybe there isnt much to talk about on this trail...just walk straight up
Dude, talk more about the hike and what you see on the trail than about your personal life and friends......

Well said titanum.. 🤣
