This is great! I have one I'll be sending to you at some point. If I find another for a spare, I'll send it as well. Never hurts to have a couple good spares laying around. I'll spread the word. I hope you're prepared to be busy :)
That would be great. We have only had 3 of these come in for repair so far and our pricing is fairly low so I was a bit surprised we haven't seen more yet. Yeah absolutley I would be very greatful if you spread the word! Thank you
Google says: The name which became the car's moniker, SAAB, was derived from the name of that company - Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget, which means “Swedish Aeroplane Corporation.” That company, now known as Saab Group, is still in operation today and produces military and civilian aircrafts, aerial vehicles, missiles, and other
It was Svenska aeroplan aktiebolaget but after gm bought it it became Saab automobile aktiebolaget (or Saab automobile AB) Sierra alpha alpha bravo is just one 80s commercial tagline.
So the one we bought is no longer for sale. But you and many others are inquiring about it so we are going to purchase a few more that are newer, and available and review them. Once we find a good comparable one at a good price we will make a video on it and probably sell it on our website. But as of right now, I don't have a good recommendation that would also be at a good price point.
Where is the repair? I am not sure I understand your question. Are you not watching the video? I show the fault being the cracked solder joints, aka bad contact between the components and PCB, and how to fix those. That's the repair and how to fix it.
So the cracks go all around the joint meaning the pin actually wasn't connecting to the PCB at all anymore. It's just hard to tell which is why we use the microscope. That's what causes a lot of faults for many electronics, not just automotive.

@@NicksElectronicRepair It's not the name of the company. It's Sierra Alpha Alpha Bravo -SAAB. It's Nato phonetic alfabeth, that pilots are using.
Yeah that makes more sense then aeroplane corp
