- we tried the new "nerfed" carno and it is very interesting. it fills a different niche now and I like it very much. it will be tough vs bigger opponents like teno, but the likes of omni should better be aware XD

Carnos slide is super op when used often, can help you turn around faster to spam something with charges or get them off your rear
it feels very much like in update 4
Carno is now way better even as smaller size. It is more agile, the ram is more usable and long rams are the way to go with bigger prey like teno. Carno is meant to be small prey hunter but it can also get tenos, maybe not that many though 😅 good video as always Mombie 💜

@@da.mombie charge actually gives a speed boost too lol. I think it makes you faster than gallis or atleast the same speed as them

Can you imagine if you had accidently killed yourself with that fall infront of the little cera if he thought he had a feast before he'd be surprised. I had no idea about the new shortcut to swamp from south plains! that'll be really nice
yeah, even if I would have gone mad in this situation, looking back it would have been hilarious to die there this new connection is a kind of canyon. so, once you are in, you have only two directions, which will hopefully end in some epic encounters between migrating herds and carnis packs

@@kiernanscanlon8965 actually a good question. at spiro it was between the north and the center. at some parts it even looked like you are walking straight to the center before you just fell and died but, when I think of the areas around these cliffs, there isn't much reason to walk up there

@danx4813 i eat them too, but I also want variety and a perfect diet.
rabbits and chickens are rare somehow. at least I barely see them. frogs on the other hand are very common and to find at a lot of places. specially around the northeast lake, the east lake, in fact at almost every pond and also at many rivers. you should listen for them. they are more easy to spot by their calls than on sight imo. turtles are at the southern beach sanctuary. fish, frog and turtle give you perfect diet

Man merkt, dass es deine gpu auch nicht mehr allzu gut geht😅 kenne das... kleiner tip, geh sobald die runter gehen auf fps Einstellungen und stell einfach ne andere größe ein... danach sollte es wieder passen bei dir... so ist es wenigstens bei mir... dadurch bekomm ich dann 30fps mehr wieder zum zocken😉 liebe grüsse

I'm fine with the weight and the biteforce, but, I would like it to be a little faster than 49,5 km/h still, I love how agile it became and that we can use our special attack more often again

@@primalboy let's be real, as soon as there are more dinos in the game, almost nobody will care much about carno anymore. it wasn't played much in legacy and the range of dinos will be even much bigger in evrima in the end. I am pretty sure carno will end as a niche dino and will be as rarely seen like as dryo right now

Is it still biting the corpse for getting to the organs or is it changed? Because its not working for me lately
you have to tap E three times now. this triggers an "open bite". depending on the size of prey you have to repeat that a few times. it's actually weird somehow and I preferred the normal bite before

@@The_Primitive if it would open every body (no matter of size) with 3x E, then I would welcome it. because with normal bites you never knew if it is open or not. but, to stand there and tapping 3x E many times in a row is nothing but weird ^^

The fps drop after update is insane... I had 60+ normally but now 30-40 😅
yeah, they already said that they have some issues and I hope they will fix that soon. the performance is really bad right now

It's because of effects, they added fog and rain back. I had it on high with over 60 fps before update and after update 30 fps so I turned it to low and fps got better

@@Gamartt you need a 4k screen and a PC which supports playing in 4k. means, a RTX 3070 at least. then you just change the resolution to 4k in the settings of the game and the recording software. in my case nvidia

Carnos hitbox is broken af rn. Some places are immune to dmg, mostly backpart. Even immune to pounces, troodons straight up get stunnedw. + you can almost spam the charge for almost 0 stamina.

you shouldn't interpret so much into it. they push nothing at all. they develop. a broken hitbox is very much an coding issue and for sure nothing they did on purpose. even more, all the current stats are meaningless. more than 40 dinos are yet to come. all the stats of each dino will change another 50 times until the game is ready. the final ecosystem will be VERY different to what we have now. carno's current hitbox isn't important at all and nobody will care about it as soon as the game is ready. it's an alpha, every actual stat is meaningless. totally meaningless

Every kind of nerf on my arc enemy is a welcomed change.
Btw at least it is not one shot tenos or other medium size enemies but it requires more skill to use it. The agility increase is a bit bad for small tiers but still there are chances to outmaneuver them. The bridge bug is amazing when they just need a step and cannot go on to.
The tenos will get soon a new predator which will be a new threat. As Hypsi I only need to focus on maneuver and speed hopefully they will buff a bit the speed or agility "mainly" turning to be better.
Not tested the new parts of the map but once I have mood and time I'll check it.
the new parts are nice, but very bad in terms of performance. there was a new update recently tho, so, I hope this fixed that issue
well, carno got weaker vs bigger ones like teno, but much stronger vs smaller ones like omni, dilo and pachy in my opinion. it could be slightly faster tho. 49,5 km/h for a carno is pretty bad. in general I like the changes and the idea of carno being a hunter for "smaller" ones. it's a nice niche
I dont remeber if it was this video or another but i seen where your were chasing someone through the bushes and were able to track them with the footprints being highlighted, how? Also i was afk growing and a full grown cerato just up and finds me? Thanks
when you come across white tracks on the map, then you can pick them up. you have to tap your scent key (Q by default) and the track swill turn blue. important is to tap, not hold Q as you are used from scenting. as soon as they are blue, they will show you the direction the prey went. after that you have to hold Q for some seconds to increase the radius of your ability to see the next tracks.

this was the pond which is right next to the river which comes from the water access. it's pretty much between north and the rivers which run into the river delta. or east of the first little bridge which crosses the river which comes the water access lake
For Carno now, the longer you're charging the more likely you are to knock heavy things over! More intended to run and ambush from some distance, the quick close quarter charges don't have as much power
someone told me this already and it makes a lot of sense honestly, I didn't even try the agility while charging. did they also changed it or is it still that stiff while charging?

@@da.mombie it’s been fine the reason why I haven’t commented was because my phone Broke and it took a long time to get a new one the only bad thing is my German shepherd died of kidney failure but I’ve been fine for the most part as for the election coming up I don’t live in a populated area so it’s been normal but I wouldn’t be supersized if things are really political up north of me

How do you dismember a dinosaur and a corpse?
if you can grab it, then grab, holding left mouse and shaking the cam left right till the organs drop out. if you can't grab it, then you have to press 3x E to make an open bite. depending on the size of the prey you need to repeat that a couple of times

Carno is definitely starting to feel more like a cheetah of the isle rather than a bull, which I'm a fan of! The changes make cera feel tankier too which I think is what the intention was for how cera was supposed to feel
I like the changes too. but to be honest, I also don't care that much about them
I personnally hate carno new size, it is ridiculous to me. I am a former carno main. Gameplay seems to feel smoother. But we already have enough small / mid predators. The "cheetah carno" is ridiculous to me. Carnotaurus is the "meat eating bull" not the "meat eating cheetah". I guess i'm an herrera main now, and will focus on Allo / rex / alberto when they will be out.

They did show some work in progress creatures but mostly Trike, Rex on unoffical servers and hopefully after they will dump more creatures. Allo is the closest probably to be finished and hopefully we will see him before winter.
@@sziklamester1244 this year is really sad in terms of new dinos. only dibble by now and all we can hope for is maia and allo on the officials
