    thanks to see my lovely aghios again after 30 jeurs.
    I was the one the first to see this origenal place in this thime.
    The famaly by the britche Papadopulos the restaurant is one of myn first en later freind in this island.

    I too work on that mountain, as a rnd radio repairman. This was in 1972!!

    @ltcolglennr You are very lucky, it is a lovely place. Does it feel over-run when the cruise ships visit?

    @stuartmoss thanks mate, was the cruise any good? i am going in a few weeks on the thomson spirit . this vid was great to see what this part of Crete was like, haven't been to this end of Crete before :o)) PJ

    @stuartmoss We lucked out because it was still a nice secret. We lived in Gouves and always made it a point to visit a different place every weekend. Unfortunately, we left due to base closure. I'm sure you saw the Mickey Mouse ears on the mountain as you were entering Heraklion. I was responsible for maintaining them. My wife and I turned down an assignment to the UK for Crete and have never regretted it.

    That was not a view of Spinalonga. It's Elounda's Nisi or Kolokitha.
