@stuartmoss thanks mate, was the cruise any good? i am going in a few weeks on the thomson spirit . this vid was great to see what this part of Crete was like, haven't been to this end of Crete before :o)) PJ
@stuartmoss We lucked out because it was still a nice secret. We lived in Gouves and always made it a point to visit a different place every weekend. Unfortunately, we left due to base closure. I'm sure you saw the Mickey Mouse ears on the mountain as you were entering Heraklion. I was responsible for maintaining them. My wife and I turned down an assignment to the UK for Crete and have never regretted it.
Very good vid. Content and quality are top notch. Thanks.

A lot of great memories. Lived there 1991-1993.
@fillajugg No, it was the sister ship, the Celebration.
I too work on that mountain, as a rnd radio repairman. This was in 1972!!
@fillajugg It was seriously excellent, we're considering doing it again this July!
@ltcolglennr You are very lucky, it is a lovely place. Does it feel over-run when the cruise ships visit?

was the ship the Thomson spirit?
That was not a view of Spinalonga. It's Elounda's Nisi or Kolokitha.
