    I'm 62, used to be 5'0" and 200 pounds, now I'm 4'10" and 115 pounds. I've kept the weight off nine and a half years.

      @@americangirl6029 I didn't get shorter because I lost the weight. I've maintained the weight loss more than nine years, but in the last three years for some reason I've shrunk two inches in height.

    I love that you share meals with lots of fruits and veg, and you show that you don’t have to eat protein powder, shakes, and bars to meet your protein. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it’s nice to see that you don’t have to.

      I know exactly what you mean. I love a protein shake once in a while, and I think they're great for the days we don't get enough protein in. But I just prefer to focus more on whole, quality protein as much as possible. Thanks so much! :)

    Hi all, i have recently joined WW, starting weight was 145lbs ,in the first week i lost .8 pounds and have not lost any weight since . Im at 144.2 for three weeks now, i stay within my points everyday but i rarely use my weeklies, any tips or suggestions as to what i can do different or is this normal to be stuck at a weight for this long???

    • @PlanningUsHealthy

      I'd say try adding in some weeklies. It may be that you're not eating enough. It's hard to say though because we are all so different.

      Hi there! Thanks so much! And yes, I always use my weeklies. I am focusing on strength training so I want to make sure to fuel my body and improve my metabolism even if it means I lose slower. 😊

    I still don't understand how it was that much protein! Doesn't seem right. Because your breakfast was not 36 g of protein. The one cup of good culture is 24 g, five almonds is 1.5 g and the piece of sourdough toast is 5 g. That's 30.5 g. So where is the other six grams of protein? Because there's no protein in fruit or avocado?

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  4 месяца назад +2

      Hi there! I use MyFitnessPal to scan everything in and it gave me 37 grams for breakfast. Here is the breakdown of what it shows:
      1 cup of lowfat GC cottage cheese is 28g protein, 54g of that bread is 6.3g protein, 7g of almonds is 1.5, the avocado is 0.6, blueberries 0.1, blackberries 0.4 and strawberries 0.4. But that's why I always say use these videos as a guide because brands are different as well as trackers. 😊

    • @eringarceau3752
      @eringarceau3752 4 месяца назад +1

      @@PlanningUsHealthy that might be why? Because fruits and avocado usually don't have any kind of protein in it.

    • @eringarceau3752
      @eringarceau3752 4 месяца назад +1

      @@PlanningUsHealthy yeah I use MyFitnessPal too.

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  4 месяца назад

      I think the biggest difference was the 4 grams difference in the cottage cheese. But I'm not sure about what you mean with the avocado and fruit. They definitely aren't high protein but some fruit still should have small amounts of protein. And I believe a whole avocado has maybe around 3 grams (?),depending on the size of it.

      @eringarceau3752 I have actually tracked something before and my daughter tracked the same thing and we both had different amounts. I told her just go for a range. Who knows hoe accurate all trackers are. Not to mention the energy effect food plays on each of our bodies is completely different. 😉
