If the webcam has exposure options under "camera control" in the "configure video" settings, It's ALWAYS better to add more light, and turn the exposure down. It can make the video much clearer, and much smoother.
Loved this video man, exactly the video I needed since I am starting a Gaming Channel and will be making gameplays with webcams and I had only like $100 to build myself a streaming setup...even though I live in India and don't have the exact same products available here I was able to grab myself similar peripherals like a Lenovo FHD 300 webcam for $25, Ring lights for $15 and a Mic with Stand for $50....the OBS Settings helped a lot to make my webcam quality better....Thanks
Awesome video Brandon I feel like this video is super beneficial to the community especially those who might want to dip their toes into streaming but don't want to spend a bunch of money. One thing I'd like to see is a streaming setup for 2-300 that I'd consider a "mid-tier" streaming setup so maybe focus on a bit better mic, more lighting, and a better webcam to complete this. At this price point you might even be able to integrate a stream deck mini into the setup. Regardless, thank you for this and as always keep up the solid content.

OBS has audio effects (compression, eq, and noise reduction) that help improve the sound of any microphone. Doesn't the Streaming software you're using have any sound effects?
the webcam is the best one i've seen so far but i would say that if your phone is good enough just use that, plus the light has a phone mount edit: if you don't want to use your phone as a webcam but want a stream deck there are apps that you can use instead of the actul thing or if you have one monitor you can use the phone to read the chat. if you have a tablet instead of a phone you can use that as another monitor t read your chat or as a stream deck
@exadize I've used "Camo Camera" and "IrIun" on Android phones. You can run them wireless if they're on the same network as your computer. If you use a charging cable like you do with a webcam then you have to give special permissions on the phone. There are lots of how to videos on RUclips
This is amazing, I just shared this in 10 different groups I'm in and with a few personal friends I know. You most definitely gained a subscriber out of me! Keep up the great work!
4:40 I don't recommend actually using these exact settings unless you have exactly the same lighting conditions as him, just play with the settings for 5 minutes and you'll find something that suits your room and camera the best
Only my opinion and no offend, I would choose fifine k670 with discount over any MIC(s) under $40. They do not provide shock mount / pop filter / windshield but the MIC itself handle the shocking sound like knocking on the table very well unless you need the mount-arm for convenient positions
It's auto exposure that's causing the picture to go haywire with you placing your hand. Not focus. Are you able to set manual exposure and manual white balance with this camera?
In configure video.. go to the 2nd tab called camera control. and turn the auto exposure off.. this doe shave to be changed every time you want to stream. it doesnt save the settings
I’ve been wanting to do gaming content and streaming. I only had a laptop and it gave me 15 minute loading screens just while playing and even longer when streaming. My son bought me a cyber power gaming computer for Christmas. He spent $1300 for pc and monitor. I love it. I still need a microphone and webcam to complete my setup. These videos are helpful but you’re not mentioning the price of the main thing you need which is a gaming pc. A laptop just won’t do. Mine was $650 and is a good laptop but wasn’t good for playing sims and streaming sims. The graphics are good but the lag and long loading screens along with the glitches just wasn’t convenient. I guess I’m trying to say that as long as you already have the pc then sure you could set up everything else on a budget.
With the light and that camera that leaves us $30 to work with. As much as I would love to include the Snowball, I couldn't make it happen due to the price! Certainly the Snowball is a better mic, so if you've got the extra cash, I would say it's a solid upgrade.
Wow. That ring light got really expensive. It's 50% off with the link, and it's still over $20. Good to know people bought enough for them to profit. But i do wish i got one earlier
Weird how people expect stuff to be almost free nowadays! Or are you trying to be ironic, sarcastic, or some other form of wit that doesn't translate to text?
Hey Brandon awesome video I’m gonna be making my RUclips gaming channel and I was wondering instead of getting a keyboard I was wondering if I can play on Xbox x series
everything he says is true but it went up lol the VeGue USB Microphone Kit is 40$ the Suirui FHD Webcam is now 38$ n the Elvana 10" Selfie Ring Light is also 37$
Is there anybody who can help me? Settings in obs of camera doesn't show up for me, I tried everything. I just have preset settings no chance to enhance white balance, saturation etc. Just resolution nothing else... I have MacBook Pro 2021 M1 chip.

listening through my studio monitors. there is only one benefit you are getting out of your elgato mic. thats control over plosives. i would get a pop filter on the cheap mic and call it good. you may be getting a little added compression out of the elgato but not enough for the average viewer to notice.

the photography triangle! lower ISO means less grainy video

Can this set work for PS5?
@@rodsprings4243 Direct to the console? Sadly, no. But you can run your console through your PC via a capture card and then it's just like this!

This man's out here giving people the ability to look and sound like pro streamers for less than a night out. Lol
This is what I need. I'm tight on budget. Need a budget streaming setup that doesn't blow my wallet. This hit my sweet spot.

Yess! This is just what I needed!! Imma save so much money!🤩

A Goddamn man of the people. I want to stream with my buddies for fun and this hits the spot as far as a budget goes. Thanks!!!
I definitely dont need this, but still watched and liked the video. Thanks for the great content as always!

I noticed in obs if you uncheck exposure helps a lot with fps and doesn’t look washed out with any webcam.
Man! I wish in Brazil we could find cheap hardware like that. Nice content, got another sub :D
This is so good, I can't believe it 🔥💯
Glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing vid pal super helpful.
That's great! Would like to know what laptop requirements are there.
Maybe mention the tacked that you use 3 different coupons
Thank you so much! It still looks really nice for it to be a budget setup!!! Definitely Subscribing!
Much appreciated!!!

Just an FYI ... Elvana and SuiRui not available on Amazon UK (as at January 2023). :(
Just a heads up, the link for the ring light is no longer what’s in the vid, and is now 80£/$
This is out of context, but bro why do you look like Fernando Alonso lmao
😂🤣
126.00 as of now. still a good buy for a starter setup.. thanks

just found your page. now a new follower. thank you for the vids and content.
Thank you for making videos like this I have been trying to find budget streaming items so I can start streaming
Dude, whats that cool lamp on the left side of your desk? I have seen it around it looks great!
You can stream on ps5?
Do you have a current video like this with an available webcam?
Is that all needed for streaming?
What about software? Is it needed?
How are you hearing yourself without headphones? If you are using speakers how are you preventing the mic from picking up the audio? Thanks!

Watched a lot of your videos to help stream on a budget! Thanks heaps, appreciate this kind of stuff 🎮
Love to hear it!
So how much is the pc you have tho? But don’t you need a capture card too?
You can get a lot more bass in it by getting closer. I use the same mic. Just get closer and dont shout
If you set the white balance to 5500 it will look more natural. 5500k is natural light like sunlight and it looks the best one cameras
Now we're talking!
This was helpful!
Thank you, thank you so much for this! 😃
Nice video. Great stuff.
At this price would you recommend this mic over the Blue snowball mics because of the accessories?
With the light and that camera that leaves us $30 to work with. As much as I would love to include the Snowball, I couldn't make it happen due to the price!
Certainly the Snowball is a better mic, so if you've got the extra cash, I would say it's a solid upgrade.
the ring light you link in the description isnt the same as the one in the video and i cant find the one you showed :(
Yep. Was gonna chime in to say that. Seems like Elvana isn’t on Amazon anymore.
Can you go over on how to make the mic sound good as well.
Wow. That ring light got really expensive. It's 50% off with the link, and it's still over $20. Good to know people bought enough for them to profit. But i do wish i got one earlier
I just bought it today for $29.99 + tax but I think it will be worth it
Weird how people expect stuff to be almost free nowadays! Or are you trying to be ironic, sarcastic, or some other form of wit that doesn't translate to text?
i only have 64.99$ will that work?
Love it man! Thought u we’re gonna use that Depstech 4K though 😭 lol
That would definitely break the budget! 😂

i am looking for a mic that will amplify the voice. Do you know of any? Thank you for sharing this video. I am new in building a streaming setup
What are the coupon code thingy to get a discount?
Are any of these still available?
That ring light went up a lot lmao
What cheap monitor can I use?
The ring light is 170€ right now LOL
everything he says is true but it went up lol

the Suirui FHD Webcam is now 38$
n the Elvana 10" Selfie Ring Light is also 37$
Very good video 😮 budget for next video $40 ;)
i cant find webcam and mic on amazon :'( your links dont work
A better microphone option is the FIFINE A6T.
Posts while in at work :'( anyways I know it's gonna be a good video
Ok but all the products are like 2-3 times more than you say they’re listed for in the video. Any alternative links?
What desk is that?
The prices have shot up
They changed the webcam price to 96 dollars holy crapz
can i use the aukey on a ps5
No matter what I do with the settings I still look really staticy and my movement looks kinda laggy. Any tips?
Legend
You should do a LED light review
Lol how much did the PC you’re attaching them to cost?
When it’s a budget setup but u don’t have a monitor or anything 😂😂
Off topic question: How’s Streamlabs?
I love it ☺️
Not bad for the money, nice job 👍🏻
Does the mic come with the arm
Yep!

Mic does NOT work on Xbox FYI
Great set-up for PC though for a great price
Do a budget room setup video
I looked Amazon and I didn't see the camera
you a cool guy you just remind me of an off-brand ryan reynolds
the mic is the best
Great list. But the light raised a lot in price :(
Probably should set the webcam to 60hz, it was still on 50hz.
Gotta love Canada! That mic is $60 +$20 for shipping up here...
I know its bs

out here lookin like the toy collector from toy story......
Just put me in a chicken suit!
You mean after you buy a top gaming pc and monitor… then it’s only $60 😂😂
save even more getting the "used" versions of these from amazon warehouse.
dang why is that webcam 80 bucks now
Because I’m sure the sales have gne up,. And let’s not forget that Covid has price driven mechanics.
Great setup but this setup isn’t $65 dollars… in my cart as we speak it comes out to $109…
That’s still not bad per say I don’t need all the aesthetics styles just straight up streaming to get into it
