  • New Project M pop-up tent shakedown trip, middle of June 2024. Time to drive and try the new setup! This trip was unusually cool and rainy for this time of year, highs were in the 50's and 60's with lows in the 20's and 30's. This drive covers I-84 from Portland to Pendleton, always fun to see this area. These videos are made in real time and not sped up or edited in any way, what I see is what you get. Please enjoy, subscribe, like, and comment :)

I’m not saying you’re him, but you sound exactly like Nick Johnson, who I also watch quite regularly. Anyway, I dig the crap out of your road videos, keep up the great work!

Have you ever been to Kansas? I live in Oklahoma and I have been to Kansas and it’s not the greatest place. You’re gonna be super hot in the morning and super hot at night during the summer they don’t have cold air in the summer in the mornings or in the evenings. Take that into consideration. I live in Oklahoma City because it’s inexpensive and centralized for travel, but it is nothing like the Pacific Northwest and I don’t ever notice myself saying oh man I wish I can go to Oklahoma and visit it or oh man I wish I can go to Kansas and visit but I do say it about the Pacific Northwest or California Specifically because of those colder mornings and evenings. I suggest staying there for a month during the summer and seeing how you like it.

I grew up in Nebraska. It would mainly be for cheaper housing and a central location once we are both retired. My dream is to travel cheaply for 2 weeks by camping and then be home 2 weeks, something like that so we could take care of things around the house etc. I miss being able to go to the east coast and the south easily, the west is pretty great but I also want to see eastern Canada someday. I used to want to travel around in an RV but not anymore, to much money and stress of fixing things.

@@AmericanOutbackAmazing so you know then! Yeah, we live in Oklahoma City because this is where family is but we like how it’s centralized I can get to Colorado in seven hours. I can get to my family in Ohio. I can see my friends on the East Coast and the West Coast and there’s so much to explore, I just can’t stand how hot it gets in the morning in the evenings during the summer and really miss that West Coast weather. We live between here and California normally but we live on the Central coast near SLO so it never usually gets hotter than 65 maybe 70 it’s great. i’m home for the summer in Oklahoma and it’s just so different. I have to stay inside and can’t enjoy the outside. I get up at 5 o’clock in the morning to try to catch the cool air but there’s still walls of heat. It makes me long for car camping on the coast. I love watching your videos, especially when you drive around Hood sport!
