I honestly like this design lot better than the RX-78 kits. Its size is just right and comparable to other humanoid 1/12 action figures (especially the head). I panel-lined the kit and painted silver inside the visor; I ended up liking it more than most Gundam kits I've collected.
That kit is 10 years old and now I'm buying 2 of them Both them for like 7 dollars each seller not a scam since I've bought almost every kit I have from him it's all sealed box too
I still don’t understand why Bandai hasn’t used either this or the various Origin GMs to make a standard mass production GM revive. Why don’t they want army builders to have a good modern version of the most common Federation grunt of the One Year War? With all the other variants around, you’d think they could do it with no fucking effort. Edit: Upon reflection, Bandai had no less than three times where they could’ve revived the GM: This, the Revive granddaddy, and The Origin. The Origin is the most ridiculous since I’m pretty sure all the other variants have parts that would work perfectly for an HGTO mass production GM, but Bandai just won’t fucking put them together and put a price tag on it.
@@GojirajJr Yeah. It’s well overdue, but thank god the HGTO GM mold wasn’t exclusively P-Bandai. I have built Sleggar’s GM already, and it’s a fantastic kit. It even color-separates the crotch-V, something not even the HGTO Gundam does.
wish they would make a kit of the nemo and HG kits for the rest of the grunts in seed ive been waiting for a HG Dinn , GuAIZ, M1 Astray, Goohn, and Zno
One thing I found different between the color scheme of the Zeta and the Unicorn version is that the trims of the collar on the Unicorn version is red instead of yellow.
I sometimes let my model kits in action pose for quiet a long time..does the joint will come loose after some times if i let it that way?or should i let be the basic stand..
@kakarot197 All we need now is Gundam Unicorn's Aqua GM, Nemo and Silver Bullet. The Feds get some love from Bandai now, Sieg Feddies (I know it never happened).
I have an irrational hatred for this suit. They didn't even try to make it look that different...it just had different proportions. That's before mentioning that it's probably the worst grunt suit in UC. At least the original GM had some scenes kicking ass in MSG. This one did jack shit >_
Don't forget that they literally upgraded all GMs to GM II's, so that's why they look so similar. The GM II isn't a new machine at all. It's essentially a 7 year old MS at the time of Zeta. Considering that it's actually not that bad of a mobile suit at all since it's performance is equal to that of the Hizack and the Galbaldy Beta (which outperformed the Gelgoog) Unfortunately I can't think of any memorable moments either, other than the Semi Striker XD
I know it doesn't suck per se, it just sucks ass relativel to it's time xD. I may still get one, though...just for completionist sake. P.S. I thought both Hizack and Galbady were a bit better than the GM II., especially the Galbady.
***** why oh why couldn't this kit have had an optional GM kai head, considering that some of the RGM-79R's (the rebuilt GM I's, the RMS-179's are the new built units to replace older or damaged GM I's)did use the GM Kai as a base for the upgrades.
ZEON SUITS GET NO LOVE! all we get is a juagg, and some remolded stuff (marasai + zaku sniper) I want a gouf heavy arms type! i want a zaku cannon! i want a galluss-j and galluss-k! I want a zogok! I wan't a fùcking capule because all these suits are awesome and have been there ever since the OYW for some of them, and the fact that we saw them shine for once in Unicorn ep.4 is enough to get them in kit form IMO. btw, no byarlant custom or aqua GM? they were the ighlight of the feds for me! A GM II is basically just a GM with a new cockpit, two extra thrusters and a beam rifle

Don't worry, the M1 Astray is my favorite mobile suit.

always prefered the grunt mechs myselv
You’re not the only. Grunts are way awesome to custom than the Gundam themselves.
Its a veeeery common thing, so no worries

AEUG decals on an EF/Titans color GM II? Must be an early AEUG GM II, before they adopted the AEUG-specific coloration.
