Mine is leaking water where the chrome piece and the white piece hook together. Everything is tight and I reuse the seals the same way as the old one but I can't get it to stop leaking from that point.
Try to pull up the sleeve higher, don't tighten the other side until you have that pipe perfectly straight, try to tighten the upper one first and then the lower connector. Other than that you may need a new washer.
Do I need to turn off the water or just turn off water from faucet. Are p traps standard size? How did you remove the deposit crud? Please help I don’t have money for a plumber
You just need to turn the water off from the faucet, most P-traps are standard unless you have a very odd old sink. These parts should be widely available at any hardware store and they aren't expensive. Good luck on your project.
Hi Leigh!! This is a very easy and chip diy proyect just go to your local hardware store and ask they should be able to explain you how to do it. Have you done it yet??? Greetings from Tucson Arizona. 🌵🌞🌵 Have a great weekend 😀
@@Rcstutz Hi Rosa Carolina!!! This is a very easy repair, just go to your local hardware store and buy the parts, they should be able to tell you how to do it. Good luck, you can do it!! Happy New Year. Greetings from Tucson Arizona 🌵🌞🌵.😊🙏

Warn people to place a bowl or bucket under the ptrap as there will always be water in there.
No doubt!
