The best part was that you didn't know which one was panicking about what. Peri could be panicking because she knows how sensitive Lapus is about fusion because of her experiences, but because of how different and comforting THIS fusion is she's ok. However it could be Lapus panicking because SHE knows that Peri has never fused before and being brought up in a 'fusion with other gems is bad' society still makes her feel weird about it, but now that she is fused with someone she cares about she understands garnet and reassures Lapus that she's ok.
This was incredible. It follows the style of both the show and the animator, without needing loud music or anime themed action sequences, and it feels like it could be an actual episode. The characters are portrayed really well, and I would like to even see this in the show, despite not even being a lapidot shipper. It has a little bit of humor, and the emotions of the characters are really well conveyed through just their well drawn facial expressions and actions. Despite the sound quality, the voice acting was almost spot on, and Peridot is a difficult character to impersonate. There really is so much I could say about this. A job truly well done.
+KayVox I guess I'm just referring to the quality of the microphones, but you honestly don't need to do much with that. I obviously don't expect you to have top notch voice acting studio quality mics, so don't worry about it. I guess a way to improve how the sound comes out is to just be slightly more consistent with your distance from the microphone while the characters are remaining in one place onscreen. However, compared to most voice dubs and animations on the Internet, this is still extremely impressive, especially with the way you give the illusion of distance from the camera, like when Peridot was running in that first scene. I also have no experience with animation or voice acting, so please take my words with just a grain of salt!

Well I don’t know about free animation software, but FireAlpaca is a good free paint tool to start with. It’s what I use to create the artwork used in this video. It’s a bit simpler compared to those professional-level paint tools like Paint Tool SAI, but I love working with it. You’ll probably want to invest in a graphics tablet though beforehand, and practice drawing digitally. You can probably find a relatively inexpensive one from Wacom to start with, and invest in more higher-end hardware once you become more confident in your abilities.

It actually can if heated enough... As peridot isn't a super dense gem but peridot's hardness level is I little higher than quartz... Diamond is the hardest gem so I would have to be superheated to melt a diamond

i wish lapis was like this, honestly, i used to love her cause i understood her pain of being isolated with someone you hate and couldn't get away from. but now, she has just lost her love from me, because my god she lost a lot of her good traits and just became this edge lord who actually became selfish at one point.
This is really, really amazing. I love it. The emotions are so well done, the VAing is really nice (Peridot's unique emphasis is there, which is really important), and the protectiveness and ending and most of the fusion design, I really like a lot! Watched this a few times! Rock on!

Shaun M if you look @ Garnett first design, it was really messy. I think lapis and peris first fusion should follow the same theme, a bit messy. stevonie and smoky quartz were both a bit messy, but every consecutive time they came after that was more and more solid. stevonies hair became manageable, smoky quartz had a more whole personality, etc. I think the design should be simpler, and the combined personality a bit clearer, but for a first time fuse, it was really well done
