    Got a SBT-11 tube. I'm happy with these Neon-filled transparent mica window tubes of the Russian/Soviet variety, in addition to being cheaper and detecting alpha, they also put on a pretty light show in low light or darkness!

    Did you just remove the tube and connect the SBT-11A and it works?

      You may need to adjust voltage and you certainly need to adjust conversion factor, but yeah.
      You also need anode resistor on the tube.

      @@mandarin1257 actually with the GMC 320/+ you dont need an anode resistor as the board has a built in one and i works fine, and the voltage is in the right range for the SBT-11A tubes
