I've seen several individuals, here on RUclips, mention their rails being scratched up some on their Switch's, from the inserting, and removing, from the controller. I've not noticed anything on mine, and I have 2 of these RF controllers, but if it's just the rail portions, and it's just strictly cosmetic, and not actually damaging the rails, in terms of making it unusable, then I don't really see the big deal because no one sees the rails anyhow. Unless you're someone that goes around, showcasing your shiny rails (which would just be f**king weird), then it's really a straight up moot point. If it was the screen getting scratched up, and/or scuffed up, then that's something to be concerned with, 100%. No one wants scratches on their car, but it's going to happen, whether you want it to, or not, or like it, or not. Nothing can be kept in perfect, and pristine, condition. It's impossible, and is just the way of Life.
The retro flag is the ultimate switch attachment!! No drift! Great buttons! Great ergonomics! Looks killer aswel! And even makes your switch feel more premium!

Got one of these a few months ago and I love it. Dunno if it scratched my OLED because I haven't taken it out since I got it.
For me the cons are:
1. Scratches the rails
2. The game card slot
3. Can't dock it
It pros are
1. Handheld only
2. Digital game (for not swapping games everytime. )
If you are physical game collector, you find it hard to like this controller.
One complaint about this. The gyro is terrible. Do not use this for splatoon. Ever. 😭
You're 100% right! I even spoke to AJ before we started filming saying about how bad the gyro was and totally forgot to mention it here! It's also because the switch sees it as a pro controller so the gyro is all funky. I mention that in more detail in my review of it in the past!
@@128KB Yeah it’s awful! But I just ordered the Doyoky Epoch joycons and I’ve heard NOTHING but amazing things about em so I’m excited to try. They look so comfortable.

I love it before. But it started to scratch my oled. And its a bit uncomfortable bcoz of the placement of sticks and stuffs. So yeah
Hey man! Quick question off topic 😅 how do you change the d-pad in the mobapad? Mine came today and I cannot get the thing out!!
Pull the faceplate off, then stick your nail into the left dpad (on the side) to pull it out

The biggest reason I am refraining from buying any joycon alteranives; is that the next gen Switch will be out by next year and I already have a ton of joycon alternives that MAY NOT be compatible with the size demensions of the next gen Switch..so yeah I don't need to litteraly throw away my money; not when I have a whole new generation of Switch 2 accessories that I will end up buying.
Totally valid reason, it may be that old joycon can be used or it might end up being something entirely new! Excited to see!
I like this but I absolutely hate how the the nitro deck feels.
Man I love your channel but i'm tired f this format, it feels made for tiktok not youtube and the camera angle makes me uncomfortable , please go back to the regular format, this podcast formats feels lazy and unexpiring

Sorry you don't like these podcast style videos, the regular format isn't going anywhere, this is in addition to those. We thought this would be a good way to revisit controllers we'd reviewed in the past for those interested. Generally we try to get one of these revisits out on a Monday and a review (regular format) video out on a Friday.
@zurce We'll keep doing what we like, you're free to watch or not dude but maybe keep the shitty opinion to yourself, it's not hepful just hurtful. This isn't a public service just a free video of two mates who like games.
